I Recall a
Gypsy Woman
So Sung Don Williams a long time ago, and here at Halo we think that he
could have been signing about Kelly Lee.
Young Gypsy Woman she is and with such brilliant talent that Guitar Legend
Albert Lee broke off from his UK tour to play on her single and album, before
heading back to the USA.
Halo have recognised her singing and writing talent and together have produced a remarkable album of songs that reflect this amazing young lady.
We at Halo believe that Rock / Pop / C/W is a great combination and this album should once and for all get the closet C/W fans in the UK to buy this without the need for the dark glasses, fake beard and cloak disguise usually associated with C/W once it heads out of the States.

Kelly Lee is a twenty-three year old Country/Rock singer and songwriter from Hatfield in the the UK.
When you ask Kelly how long she's been singing, she always replies with " Since I was a little girl listening over and over to my favourite Patsy Cline tape and singing along". Kelly has loved country music for as long as she can remember, listening to her parents tapes of Patsy, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Charlie Pride, and later on The Judds and Reba McEntire. Kelly's influences now are Miranda Lambert, Dixie Chicks, Julie Roberts, Keith Urban, Sara Evans, Sheryl Crow and Gretchen Wilson to name a few.
Kelly started her musical journey when she was fifteen, doing guest spots in various country music clubs and pubs with a band called Struck It Rich, and opening for another young singer, Niki Dean, at the famed Borderline Club in London.
As well as singing Kelly wrote a monthly page on British country acts called Kelly's Eye, in the magazine Country Music International, which included reviewing albums and writing features on British and International acts.
In June 2005 Kelly recorded a fourteen track country covers album, with Steve Rowland producing. While she was recording, Mike Maslen who is the owner of London based Indie label Halo Records, came to see her. He loved what he heard and since then has been working with Kelly and signed her to Halo in November 2007.
Kelly recorded eight of the ten tracks on her debut album, I Can Dream...England 10 Titans 0, with four of the former members of International Southern Rock band, Medicine Hat. The two songs that completed the album, a Julie Roberts cover and a fantastic song from two Nashville songwriters, feature guitar legend Albert Lee.
Kelly's debut album and single is available now to download at iTunes, play.com, & Amazon, and the CD can now be pre-ordered from HMV, play.com and Tower Records amongst others for release on the 27th October 08.
