Legendary guitarist for the rock band Eli. Kelly Love was born and raised in the Mississippi delta, HOME OF THE BLUES!! Ever since he was a kid all he thought about was playing music. He got his first guitar when he was 15 and then IT WAS ON!! He started playing in local Mississippi bands and shortly after agent/mgr Charlie Roberts heard about him and asked him to play guitar for the legendary band ELI. He toured with ELI from 85 to 93, where he worked along side some of todays most renowned artist. Including drummer Will Hunt of Evanescence, Tommy Lee, Motley Crue, Dark New Day. Drummer Kevin Neal of Bad Company, Lou Grahm Band, and the baddist bass player on the planet Rodney Oquinn of the Pat Travers Band (Love's brother from another mother). Love produced and co-wrote 2 albums for ELI working side by side with fammed producer John Kurzweg /Creed, Puddle of mud on era record label from 1990 to 1993 and preformed on stage with such acts as 38 Special, Molly Hatchet, Joan Jett, The Romantics, Autograph, Atlanta Rythem Section, Taylor Dayne, Mothers finest, Ugly Kid Joe, and members of Bad Company and Journey. Burnt out and tired from years of never ending touring and giving it everything he had, he Left the band in 1993 to come of the road and stay home with his family. He began driving a gasoline transport tanker for Eli Roberts Oil company where he still serves today as the operations manager for the company. After many request from fans to reform the band, he was reunited with Eli in 2000 to preform for a 20 year class reuinion in which they had preformed 20 years earlier. The evening was magical and the band members realized the fire had never stopped burning and this was a group of guys with one common bond, their love for music. With a quest to give the audience something very special the band now days can be caught at any given biker festival or hot rock, cold beer event in the southeast performing to a level hardly seen these days. This easily seperates them from the rest, and sustains their reputation for being one of americas most wanted Rock Bands!
