About me:
Hi. I am a little bit different from you. My mother is normal, but my dad is a bonobo chimpanzee. He's not the dad who raised me though, that's Kevin, Sarah's husband. Sarah is my mom. I can't write too good, but my friend Kelpie is helping me do this so you can read it. I grew up in the woods - the beautiful Siskiyou mountains in Oregon. But now I live in Seattle but mostly I just travel with my best friend Virgo Jane. We have a mission. We are trying to tell everyone about all the endangered animals in the world. Like the bonobo chimps who live in the Congo. They are my relatives. Actually they are your relatives too. Bonobos and humans have almost all the same genes. That's why I exist! My mom got some bonobo sperm in her and it was close enough to make her pregnant! But you can read all about that in Kelpie Wilson's book, Primal Tears.

This is the book about me. It is called PRIMAL TEARS and it is by Kelpie Wilson.

Kelpie is a journalist and a freelance writer. She has a website kelpiewilson.com

You can buy Primal Tears at amazon.com or powells.com or lots of other places online. Or ask your local bookstore to carry it. I think you will like it. It is all about me and my friends. It has the really crazy story of how I came to be born. And it has stories about what I am doing now, like working with my friends Virgo Jane and Carver to save forests, bonobos and other endangered species.
Who I'd like to meet:
cute boys and cute girls too. And anyone who is friendly and loves forests and animals.

Dig it Big Time. Even better odds on Turkeys. Amazing article in some biz school magazine someone sent my way. One of the fastest growing nonprofits in America is a wild turkey preservation group composed pretty much entirely of people who want to hunt wild turkeys. They have great banquets with great raffles and the turkey hunters are only too happy to give money for the cause.

Wild Turkey population in North America has increased by several hundred percent since those guys (and one has the feeling they are pretty much "guys" of a 100% human persuasion), got to work.

Dunno about you, but both in my part of the world, and the Eastern Shore, or West Coast, depending how you look at it, of Lake Michigan, has wild turkeys running everywhere. And this would seem to be because this hook and bullet group decided to preserve turkey habitat. Which is pretty much anywhere there isn't a city, or factory farms.

It's a mighty world we live in and we're only passing through.

I believe Johnny Cash sang that on an Earl Scruggs Review recording.

Hey, I made all my top friends your old friends. It is based on what, almost 30 year old memories? But, I think you know all or most of who is up there right now, today. I am unsure of some, but added who I thought you knew.
