KELROY was conceived in Chicago by 6 fellows who, in 2007, decided friendship wasn't enough, so they rented out a space, turned up the volume on their electric kazooz, and started writing original music (minus the kazoo's). In Kelroy's short existence, the band has already performed at various Chicago hot-spots such as Subterranean, The Mix, The Orphanage, Elbow room, Lilly's, Underground Lounge, Wise Fool's Pub, Reggie's Rock Club, and Double Door.
Having all the components of a traditional rock group, Kelroy is more than just that. Guitars sound more like distress signals and woeful mournings. Keyboards and trombone thrown in, you'll come to find that Kelroy isn't just rock. Kelroy has a difficult time labeling themselves into a particular style. They strive to be true to themselves as they write and pour time and essence into the vortex of sound they shape. Kelroy attempts to invoke a mood, a feeling, sometimes a tingly sensation and always a train of thought....
The video to "Surprise with a Fold" is available for your juicy eyeballs. Kelroy is currently in the mixing phase of their first full-length album, "Bloodshot, Hungry, Paranoid," which is targeted for release fall of 09.

Thanks a lot for the add ! EletriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check EletriKa out!
