sufjan stevens (second best show in my life), wilco (probably 3rd best show in my life), joanna newsom, alanis morrissette, eisley, jennifer knapp, natalie merchant, lisa loeb, rilo kiley, joni mitchell, iron and wine, the helio sequence, the shins, the beatles, arcade fire, smashing pumpkins, jars of clay, radiohead, ryan adams, postal service and death cab, ben folds, dave matthews, led zepp, bright eyes, beck, kings of convenience, the strokes, my morning jacket, stanton, sigur ros (the best concert of my life!), alex dupree and the trapdoor band, nick drake, elliott smith, but i can't even start, it's too stressful.
i grew up in richardson, lived in colorado, lived in mexico, moved to denton, moved to brooklyn, and moved to oak cliff. i am a photographer, musician, listener, and eater of soup. i love film, typography, scarves, owls and volvos. someday i will make a record.
a) i just noticed your comment tonight (this morning, really) b) nice to see you too, and c) only vaguest-ly remember such a comment, and don't recall it being creepy. even if it was, though, there'd be room for it, seeing as how it was like 37 o'clock in the morning by that point
Ha. I'm not sure which parts were confusing, so I'll explain all of it! "Very good" was for the tunes. "I'll make it out to hear you one of these days" because Jared Cheek usually tells me when he hears of you playing in Dallas, often only hours before you perform, and I am always unavailable. The toast comment because you say you "enjoy art and music, tea and toast, and creativity." Toast is a good one too. In fact, I just cleaned all this gunk out of the bottom of my toaster and wondered what I should use the thing for. True story.
