My wife and I have always enjoyed dark lagers. When we met in 1996 (both working at a brewery in Seattle), one of our favorite beers was the German Dunkel. Chocolaty, with hints of toffee, and a clean, dry finish, this beer was a great local representation of a European style. There are not too many dark lagers like this made in the U.S. today. Now one is made in Brooklyn.
When the opportunity came for us to produce and brew our own brand through a licensing agreement with my employer, we decided on this style of lager. It's got enough flavor for those who like dark beers, but finishes light enough for the novice. It costs a bit more to make, but we feel it is well worth it. Cheers and Enjoy.

Damnit, crying again. Give the "liiii-tle one" smooches for me.
Love you all!

Hey guys!!! How's it going? How's parenthood? Where can I try some of that KELSO beer? Sounds yummy! Great pics on the brewery website man, it's almost like I'm still there...! I miss you guys, Brooklyn and brewing... maybe a visit is in order? Need to get out of the city for a weekend? You are of course welcome here in the mountains anytime! Take it easy kids...
I just realized you started at SDSU in '89. I was 7 when you left!!! Ha ha. It just helps solidify the fact that, well.. lol... you're getting old. And, as your oldest little sister... I feel it is my duty to remind you of such things. Hope you find your phone at work today, and remember to bring home some Pumpkin beer for Sonya.
