Keltia's music is inspired by ancient mythology (mostly Celtic, Nordic and Greek myths), folk and gothic music. Describing our style with words is almost impossible. You just have to experience it!
Keltia's project began in 2002 when Keltia, the leader of the group, started to perform alone with her harp in Belgian festival and concert places. She sang her own songs (written in French) accompanying herself with a Celtic harp.
She made a lot of concerts and met very interesting people that encouraged her in her artistic project. She notably met Louisa John Krol, an Australian singer, who helped her to make contacts to develop her project.
In 2004, Cecile (electric violin, keyboards and choirs) and Franck (bass, keyboards and choirs) joined her. By adding loops and electronic rythms to the music, they created a very original and personal style. In 2006, the band recorded its first studio album, "1666". It is available on www.limohe.com. Just ask for the details!
In summer 2007, Franck left the band and was replaced by Mathieu Lacrosse (guitar, mandoline...). Together, Seesayle, Mathieu and Keltia, created a brand new show based on the theme of metamorphoses. With songs inspired by the stories of Melusine, werewolves, butterflies,...
