Madly in love with hot young blond "trophy wife"
(Ok, ok, it's really kind of strawberryblond and although she looks like a trophy and in my mind she is a trophy, she is her own woman and not bound in any way by the limitations of a label especially one with condescending and marginalizing implications. But I do enjoy putting a polish on her and showing her off once in a while).

... I am passionate about food, drink and the art of the meal.

    ...

    I frequent restaurants and bars.

    ...

Favorite drinks to make when I'm the bartender:

    Peartini-

The Peartini is the signature Martini of Grey Goose's newest flavored vodka, La Poire and the Grey Goose people push it hard. I won't drink 'em cause they're too girly but women and hairdressers love them. I tell them it's way better way to go than the Apple Martini which is just ghetto at this point. This super-premium pear-flavored vodka is displayed beautifully in combination with Disarrano Amaretto, the sweetness of simple syrup and a little tart lemon juice. For a refreshingly sweet summer Martini, the Peartini is a perfect choice though most bars can't do it cause they don't stock the Grey Goose, La Poire

    INGREDIENTS:
2 parts Grey Goose La Poire
    1/4 part Disaronno
    1/4 part simple syrup
    1/2 part lemon juice
    pear slice for garnish
    PREPARATION:
Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosted and beaded with sweat.
    Strain into a cocktail glass.
    Garnish with a pear slice.

    Mojito:
The Mojito has risen in the ranks to become of the most popular cocktails. It originated in Cuba, was second to the Daiquiri on Ernest Hemmingway's list of favorite cocktails and, since the 1980's, has become one of the more fashionable tropical cocktails. It's very simple, using mint and lime to accent the rum. Choose a premium rum like Bacardi or Mount Gay for a spectacular Mojito.
    INGREDIENTS:
    2 tsp sugar
    6-8 mint leaves
    club soda
    1 lime, halved
    2 oz light rum
    mint sprig for garnish
    PREPARATION:
Place the sugar, the mint leaves, and a little club soda into a highball glass. Muddle well to dissolve the sugar and to release the mint flavor. Squeeze the juice from both halves of the lime into the glass. Drop one half of the lime into the glass. Add the rum.
    Stir.
Fill the glass with ice cubes.
Add the rest of the club soda.
Garnish with the mint sprig and a fresh stick of Sugar Cane.

San Francisco native, Kelvin Han Yee began his career as a company member at the American Conservatory Theater. A classically trained actor, Kelvin was the first Asian American actor to join Ashland's Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Soon he became a regular fixture in the Bay Area film and T.V. scene. Don Johnson called him, "my favorite bad guy". An ex-bouncer and fan of mixed martial arts, Kelvin's bad guy persona has played out in an array of characters, both lawful and criminal.
"I don't play villians, I play victims..." explains Yee. Armed with this insight, Kelvin has volunteerd with Each One Reach One, a program that mentors incarcerated youth and teaches writing workshops as an alternative to violence.
Not just limited to "tough guys", Kelvin also draws upon his comedy and improv background which is illustrated in roles on NBC's Chuck and the HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Kelvin lives with his wife in Southern California

I'm not famous (but I look familiar),

My background is in theater and improv.

My career in the theater spans over 25 years and I still take the stage from time to time.

I've directed plays and music videos.

I take pride in

working his hustles hard up in this Hollywood game.
But back in the day...

I'm an...
...ex-bouncer, ex-male stripper, ex-mob enforcer (Does the name Ruben Sturman ring a bell? Forget about it.)

Theaters like the American Conservatory Theatre and Asian-American Theater Company saved me from a career as a bouncer in some of the grittiest dives and strip clubs on the West Coast. I was a guy not too different from T.C. my character in
Chalk (TAG) directed by Rob Nilsson.

I began my acting career at the

I was the first Asian American actor in the company at Ashland's: Oregon Shakepeare Festival in its 65 year history. Barrier bustin'.

In 1985 I starred in my first movie...
A Great Wall (MGM) . It was the first American feature film shot in the Peoples Republic of China. I played Paul Fang.

...
Hobbies...

I can only play three chords on the guitar ok...but I shred 'em.

I love to cook for other people.

My best dish? Maybe my Roast Chicken. Not fancy. Simple. Basic. Soulful. I've tried everything including beer cans up the butt, butter, sauces, herbs, cloves, marinades, stuffing, tying, brining, injecting....but all I really need is:
1 whole chicken + salt 'n pepper. And an oven. That's it. That's all I need. It's all about temperature.

I eat high a protien / low-carb diet most of the time but my weakness is warm tortilla chips and salsa like what comes with your burrito.

...And I still haven't found what I'm looking for.

I recently read an exerpt from The Last Chinese Chef by Nicole Moines for Stories On Stage at the Denver center for the Performng Arts.

I am fine. My MN license came back "Expired years ago" (since I moved back to AZ). So he wanted to hassle me about that. Then he wanted to complain that my rear light is taped on and that it is a hazard.
    AS IF!
So I need to go get my license changed over. I am fine. Really. I'm just sick of being with someone who doesn't care. That's all.
    How are you?
