About me:

1/28/09 Hey FOLKS!!! So it's been almost a year since I've written...that's pretty funny. 2008, good bye and good riddance! It was emotionally and financially the toughest year of my life! But AMEN for growth. Right now I'm working on a play called Making It Big, hoping to reprise my role as Hadassah in Who Do You Love (Lord willing that it goes up again) and about to audition for BET's Sunday BEST.
This is the year to "get right, or get LEFT!" And being left behind is not my destiny or my desire. I've been paying my dues for years not and I'm all about reaping the harvest of the seeds of blood, sweat and tears I've sown.
You'll see some music on my page, I'm a song writer and much of this material is old, but I keep it to show my progress. If you search me on YouTube you can catch the vocals TRULY at work. I'm about my business and thank the Father for all of the gifts and talents that he's bestowed upon me.

Hello My Space Fam! It's March 16th, 2008 and here's the latest updates. The pic on my page is the flyer for my new show, WHO IS A VIRTUOUS WOMAN. It's produced by My Chris Ent., written and produced by Aarion Kion Jackson. The play is a testimony of a woman's struggle and life through HELL and how she rose out of the fire like pure GOLD. It's a must see show and not to be missed. Myself along with a full cast of TREMENDOUSLY talented and blessed women bring this sermon to life on the stage of the Times Square Arts Center's Roy Arias Theatre on 43rd and 8th in Manhattan to life from March 21-23. Updated 12/14 Hey folks...so some new news!!! I am starring in a new Off-Broadway Gospel Play in NY. It's called Who Do You Love and it's going to be HOT! The music is beautiful, the story is awesome and this role really means a lot to me. Secondly, I will be the featured performer in January at the Miss Black Georgia pageant. It's my first time performing in ATL in over 15 years (yes, I was a shorty the last time getting it in at Jack The Rapper with all the music big tymers!!!!).
2007 was the year for setting it all up and 2008 will be the year to make it happen...it's the year of New Beginnings or as my Spritual Dad calls it...the year of the Crossover (luv you Pastor Morton :-)
So I just want to encourage everyone to write the vision for your year down, make it plain so that someone can read it and run with it. God has wonderful things in store for you, He's got more for you...you just have to Believe it, Trust it and know it. MWAH!!!

Updated 10/26/07 So I'm back to say some things. First off, God is sooooo good. I have recently finished up my very first film role, playing Raquette in the upcoming Tough Struggle Ent. film Ex$pendable. The movie is going to be so hot and we are being courted by several distribution houses, so please say a prayer for your girl. Secondly I have just completed my first marathon...well half marathon but let me be the first to tell you that 13.1 miles up San Francisco hills is not easy thing to do. Thirdly I have made the decision to pursue my passion full time as of 2008!!!!! I pray that doors will open for me, but I have to follow my heart. I want to say thank you to all of my friends and family that support and love me. All of you have continued to encourage my efforts and the Lord has blessed me with you all soooooo much. And for all of the haters, thank you too. You more than anything provide me with the fuel that I need to show you that you are wrong about my abilities to succeed!

Updated 5/13/07 Okay so a lot's been going on in my world. First of all I won the online Live the Dream contest by Dreamworks. Secondly, I will be in a new gospel play this summer called "Will The Real Men of God Please Stand Up." It's being produced by My Christ Ent. (big up AJ) Thirdly, I did it big at the Spaghetti Junction Urban Film Festival in ATL last month (big up Es) and it was a powerful chance to Network and see some awesome films. You MUST check out the Hip-Hop Project! They are not promoting this movie but it's imperative for our young people to see...pass the info on! ************************************************ Hey people. I'm here and finally a myspace member. Don't have much to say, but that God is good and He's blessed me a lot. I am working, going to school and doing several things in entertainment. After a successful charity run on BROADWAY we brought DREAMGIRLS to Brooklyn before it hit the big screen. Check my pics and you will see the myself and the cast as we "Catch The DREAM!!!!!" 11/06 Now that is done it's back to finding studio work (recording artists and producers...HOLLA) and auditioning for some more plays. I have worked many years at this thing, doing backgrounds for artists and paying my dues. It's my season baby. I have made some poor choices and have been done dirty by many, but the Lord has sustained me and kept the fire for my passion in my heart. So I know he will allow my purpose to sustain me and to become my reality amid all the false hope, broken promises and dirty dealings. I have grown over the years and seen myself and others for what it really is. I don't like the rain but it's caused this rose to bloom. So I thank God for it anyhow. My time is approaching people...so remember the name! Okema is here and she is about to break it down.
