I began my professional career in Sioux City, Iowa, where I sang the “soul-stirring” song “My Offering” with Grammy-nominated Gospel recording artist James Bignon. After experiencing the feeling of joy with the performance of My Offering at the Orpheum Theatre with Bignon, I knew without a shadow of doubt that performing was the direction I wanted to go.
I have a deep passion for music and attempt to demonstrate that passion every chance I get. “This young woman has a remarkable voice that could easily land her a recording career if she so chooses,” wrote Bruce Miller, Sioux City Journal.
Some of my influences include Yolanda Adams, LaShun Pace, Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, Kelly Price, Stephanie Mills, and Kim McFarland.
I grew up in Chicago and the mother of three, I attend the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist church in Sioux City where I am a lead vocalist for the choir and very active in the ministry under Dr. Floyd E. Brown, Pastor.
