Influences
As a drummer, my biggest influences are Stewart Copeland, Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Neil Peart, "Herb" Alexander, Phil Collins (Early Genesis), and John Bonham. Bands...here's the "short" list: The Police, Primus, Radiohead, Early Genesis, Sonic Youth, The Pixies, Sex Pistols, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Black Sabbath, Talking Heads, Kings Of Leon, Jane's Addiction, RHCP, Phish, Gomez, Umphrey's McGhee, Minus The Bear, Secret Machines, These Arms Are Snakes, Supergrass, Stereolab, Tool, Queens Of The Stoneage, Jawbox, Burning Airlines, Soul Coughing, Death Cab For Cutie, Sigur Ros, Mogwai, The Replacements, XTC, Bad Brains, Living Colour, A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, Shudder To Think, Fugazi, Afghan Whigs, Mother Love Bone, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Rage Against The Machine, and so many more! Musicaly, I love it all. Anything from easy going singer/songwriter stuff to Classic Rock, Alternative, "Real" Hip Hop, Jazz, Blues, and Bluegrass. I've never been able to get into Modern Country music, however I do enjoy the likes of Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr., and alot of early Rockabilly. Bring da noize beeeahtches!!!!

Hey peeps. My name is Ken Crawn and I've been playing drums, (self-taught), since age 11. I started playing in rock clubs and bars in the San Francisco Bay Area when I was in high school. I now live and play in the Annapolis/Baltimore area. You name the style, I've probably played it. I currently play with Laura Brino, Gezus Kake, and Fall Back Plan. On ocassion I serve as "drum slave" to the Hypnotic Panties. Old bands include Eclipse(San Fran, California), S.M.O.K.E., Blind Man's Dream, Feedbag(Briefly), Velvet Thud, Taximelt, Crosstown, and KaliCeleste. I also played with Donna Summer's talented daughter Mimi. I love working in the studio and doing fill in gigs now and then. I've filled in for Swamp Candy, Peterbuilt, Bob Sima, Stereopool, Justin Trawick, and many others. You should drop me a line if you ever want to jam out or need a drummer. I occasionally have songs posted from projects I'm working on or with. I'll also throw in some home recordings of me goofing off and a "Blast from the Past" track as well. If you don't see me playing around town, you'll definitely see me out supporting the many talented musicians in our region. It's amazing to have so much talent in such a concentrated area. At some point, I'd like to manage artists. I've been around long enough to know good talent when I see/hear it. Maybe when I'm done playing. We'll see. Thanks for checking me out.
