Kendall Phillips is an aspiring performer from Indiana. You may recognize her from television and radio shows such as American Idol, FOX 59 News, 99.5 WZPL, 93.1 WNOU, 97.1 HANK FM, and 1070 WIBC. Kendall has been writing and performing songs from a very young age. Recently, she has performed she has performed the National Anthem for the Indianapolis Indian's games. She was a contestant on the 2006 season of American Idol and is now featured in the new book "Chicken Soup for the American Idol Soul" released in November 2007.
In January of 2007 Kendall had the opportunity to have her single "It's You" turned into a music video. The video went on to make it to the top charts on CMT's Music City Madness. On November 17th, 2007 "It's You" was released on iTunes along with her CD "Crazy."
Phillips recently gained success in her acting career while in Los Angeles and appeared on various television shows. Kendall has had performances all over the United States and has won over audiences in Mexico. Another one of Phillips' achievements has been sharing the stage in performance with renowned performers such as Bobby McFerrin, Marvin Hamlisch, and Michael Orlin.
Kendall is currently working on her first full length album. "It has a lot of originals that I've worked really hard on over the past two years, I can't wait for everyone to hear it!" Kendall said of the upcoming CD. "It's going to be a mix of country and rock, I think everyone will love this new sound."
At only 20 years of age Kendall has accomplished quite a lot in her career, but that doesn't stop her from moving forward. Every day she wishes to work towards her dream, make progress and inspire others to go for their dreams as well.
