WBHM's "Tapestry" describes Kendra Sutton & the Bad Luck Boys as "Honky Tonk Soul." Often compared to Janis Joplin or Norah Jones, Kendra’s original songs draw from influences as diverse as Carol King to Muddy Waters. After a year of playing open mics around Birmingham, AL, Kendra recorded a solo piano/vocal album "Soft Landing." In 2006, Kendra formed a band and six months later, they recorded their latest CD at Sun Studio in Memphis. Now with dozens of shows under their belts, Kendra Sutton & the Bad Luck Boys have played venues of every type and recently opened for Rascal Flatts at the Verizon Amphitheater in Birmingham.
