Lyman Woodard Organization 『Saturday Night Special』 CD Release Party

今年度初頭にWax Poetics Recordsから重量版2枚組LPとして発売されたライマン・ウッダードの幻の音源『Saturday Night Special』が何と日本限定版CDとして、8月2日にBBQから発売される。その発売を記念して、渋谷MICROCOSMOSにてWax Poetics Japanプレゼンツによる日本限定版CDリリースパーティーを開催することが決定。DJには日本の黒いディガーといえばこの人ということで、DEV LARGE氏を迎えて盛大なリリースパーティを行います。迎え撃つバンドは、最近多岐に渡る活躍で多くのフェスに召還されているlaidbookを迎え、Lymanwoodardの名曲を生で演奏してもらいます。その他、DJ以外にもDRAGONによるアートなどを観覧できる。

Wax Poetics Japanがプロデュースする日本人アーティストだけの夜。

Wax Poetics Japanの全面プロデュースによる日本人だけの特別イベントがMICROCOSMOSで開催される。Rhymester、breakthroughなどでサウンドの軸となっているブラックミュージック界の重鎮DJ JINと、昨年末に発売された自身初アルバムとなる「Humming Jazz」が驚異的な売り上げを上げを記録し、東京シーンの最前線に踊り出したKenichiro Nishiharaが登場する。また、5月13日に2nd アルバム「THE REVENGE OF SOUL」がリリース予定の45 a.k.a.SWING-Oも参加。2007年にリリースした1st アルバム「Hello Friends」ではSteph Pockets、 Lark Chillout（A.Y.B.Force）、Reel PeopleのツアーヴォーカリストTasita D'Mourなどをfeat.し、70年代ソウルフレーヴァーに日本人的感覚が融合したサウンドと圧倒的な鍵盤さばきでシーンに新風を吹き込んでいる。

96年よりファッションショーの選曲を始め、以降東京コレクションパリコレクションなど国内外にて多岐にわたるショーやイベントで音楽ディレクションを担当し現在に至る。ウェブサイトやCMなどの音楽制作や、サウンドインスタレーション、公共の報知音や環境音等の制作・プロデュースなど様々な分野に音や音楽を提案提供している。
オリジナル音源としてはKai Alceとのスプリット12インチシングルやEndless Moon名義の2枚のアルバム、ファッションブランドYAB-YUMからソロミニアルバムなどをリリース。
2007年アンプライベート株式会社を設立し、2008年自社レーベルよりリリースした7インチシングル「Nebulosa」に続き、初のソロフルアルバム「Humming Jazz」を発表した。
