HELLO. I couldn't come up with a good formal bio, so I thought I'd begin by talking about a)What I like, and b) What I'm like. I like good home-cooking, old guitars, drawings, Gatorade/Powerade, baseball, and the art of sandwich making. I like smells that remind me of people/places/thoughts. I like Zaytoons. I'd love to visit Seattle and Spain someday.
About the music. Some of my music is about me. The other half are fictitious stories. The people in science say that our sense of hearing is not as strongly tied to our memory as our sense of smell, but that's something I try to bring out in my music: Music that reminds us of people/places/thoughts.
Just ordered your new album. Thanks for the motivation donation to GOTO. The future of humankind is in the kids hands anyway - it's up to us to put music into their lives... Peace
We’d love to see you @ Uncle Mike’s on Thursday Oct 16th, 57 Murray St. btw Church and W Broadway. We take the stage @ 8 PM. It's blues night, but we always have our rockabilly sound...
Hey bro. Everything is great. Still Teaching at UM, Miami Dade, BCC and playing in Libido. Plus playing with Martin and his tunes down here. A real musical ass wooping. :-) Did a duo rec. with Landon a while back which went great. I'm hoping to do another with him when he comes down again. No gigs or anything from it but it was great to do. Ever get down this way anymore? Let me know your number so next time i'm in NYC we can hook up. Also Carrie and I had a baby girl 3 weeks ago. Life is great. :-)
I really like the music you have posted here... it made me start thinking of people and places I haven't seen in a while, so you're definitely hitting the mark there. These songs are all really solid.
It was great seeing you last weekend, and hopefully it won't be another five years until I can meet up with you guys again. In the meantime, best of luck with everything.
Congradulations on your CD review! How wonderful!!! I loved it! "Getsuyo wa arigatou!" For some reason, MD was not recorded(><). Well, next time! I will send e-mail later. Take care & love,
