Hakkımızda The Keatings...A Father & Son Musical Experience
The Keatings take audiences on a musical journey that spans numerous genres including pop, jazz, rock, country, opera, Broadway, standards, and even gospel. Audiences are captivated by the unique combination of powerful voices from a father and his teenage old son.
Ken Keating is an accomplished vocalist and pianist. Ken was one of the original winners of the Liberace scholarship for both the piano and voice categories in 1981. Ken has been performing since he was a teenager. By the age of 18, he was playing with his show band in lounges around the Las Vegas strip.
Ken has done extensive vocal work with critically acclaimed groups such as the William Hall Master Chorale, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Boston Pops. He has performed in such places as the Hollywood Bowl and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and has worked with celebrities such as Carol Burnett and Hal Linden.
By the age of 11, Josh Keating was already performing on stage in Las Vegas and developing his craft. In 2005, at the age of 14, Josh auditioned alongside hundreds of other singers ranging in age from 14 to 28 for Andre Agassi’s Grand Slam to Stardom competition. After several rounds of auditions, performances, and eliminations, Josh was selected by a panel of celebrity judges as one of the three chosen singers to be sent to Malibu, CA to meet Grammy Award winning producer, David Foster.
In 2008, Josh won the prestigious designation of “Command Performer” in Nevada after numerous rounds of the State’s solo & ensemble competition.
Josh was invited to perform as a special guest at a charity event in Las Vegas called “An Evening With Tony Bennett And The Stars”. Josh performed along with an array of stars and received a standing ovation started by Mr. Bennett himself.
The Keatings perform regularly at various venues in Las Vegas, and throughout the United States.
A day or two ago I posted a note and graphic for you but don't see it showing. I hope it didn't get lost. Anyway, I do hope all is going great and I love the video. I'm glad I finally got to see you both perform on the telethon. It was incredible as always.
Hello Ken, I know its been a while. Things are a bit crazy here. I must say I absolutly love the new video. It was incredible!!! Thank you for posting it on your page. I was so disapointed when I didn't get to see it when it aired. I watched but our area never showed it. Anyway, I know everyone loved it as much as I do. What glorious talent you both have. You always capture my attention and my heart with your voice. I've missed hearing from you too but I know how busy things are for you. Stop by some time when you have a break and fill me in. Remember those roses, just along the way for you to enjoy. Take care my dear friend. Tons of Hugs, Beth
I just watched your video from thr M.D. Telethon. You guys are an incredible pair. Do you have an album out with the two of you yet?If so, you've just sold one. Much love and success to you both, DOUG
How is life treating you? Looks like its treating you wonderfully. I am sad to say I didn't see you on the Telethon. I guess my area didn't cover that segment of the show. I was surprised at some of the things Jerry said. Being a family show and all. But the cause is a worthy one for sure. I had a friend who's grand daughter died with MD. It is and emotional experience. I am so glad that you were a part of the program. All is looking good for you. Take care my dear freind. I'll be stopping in again. Hope you have time to write. Enjoy and rememeber, "smell the roses"! glitter-graphics.com
