Ken LaTour has evolved musically through experience in many different aspects of the music industry. His first venture into the world of music began at age sixteen, when he picked up a guitar to learn how to play the blues. He quickly discovered, however, that listening to Robert Cray wasnt enough to be able to play like him. At age eighteen he took on the duty of sound guy for a friends band. At this time he started to experiment with different instruments and began to seriously study the bass. After playing the bass in several bands over the next ten years, he finally decided to pick up the guitar again. Using his computer, Ken started to write and record his own original music, playing all of the instruments and lending his vocals to the mix. He continued to contribute to other music projects, on the side, and was fortunate enough to learn from some of Vancouvers top engineers how to engineer and mix his work. Since mid 2001, Ken has been focusing on perfecting his song writing and performance abilities.
