Gouken and his brother Gouki were taught the killing art of Goutetsu-ry by its founder, Goutetsu. Gouken abhorred the violence inherent to the system and was more interested in the spiritual side of the art. Gouken witnessed the death of his master at Gouki's hands.
His first student was Dan, a young man who had some background in Muay Thai. However, he had to release Dan after discovering that Dan's purpose for learning Ansatsuken was to gain vengeance for his father's death. Gouken later adopted an orphan named Ryu and started training the boy. He then accepted Ken Masters as a second student, as was custom for Ansatsuken.
Gouki challenged his brother to a duel, loudly declaring himself to be the true heir of Ansatsuken. He was soundly defeated by Gouken. As his brother slunk away, Gouken remarked to his two young students how Gouki had corrupted his Hadou no Chikara (Power of Hado) and that when Gouki returned, he would bring calamity to the school.
Sadly, Gouken was correct. Gouki did return years later, fully embracing the killing intent called Satsui no Hadou, making Gouki many times more devastating. He killed Gouken while his pupils Ryu and Ken were away taking part in different tournaments. Gouken's daughter witnessed the whole thing, and Ken returned just in time to see the end of the Shun Goku Satsu. Ken fought Gouki in blind rage to avenge his master. He was defeated (but not killed) by Gouki.
Ken Masters was born the only son to an American-Japanese father and a full Japanese mother. His father is the owner of a world-wide financial corporation called Masters Co, hence being multi-millionaires. Their mansion lies hidden on the outskirts of Seattle, Washington.
Throughout most of his life, Ken was considered a 'troublemaker' by many. When it was at the point that his parents couldn't take it, a close friend had recommended that Ken should be sent to Japan to meet with a master of Shotokan karate, who could also teach him great disipline. They took the offer and soon sent Ken to the master.
At first, Ken was not happy about the idea. It was a lifestyle he wasn't used to. His master Gouken trained him, knowing that deep down, the young American had potential. As the many months passed, Ken slowly began to learn better disipline through martial arts and soon became one of two of Gouken's most prized students. The other happened to be Ken's rival and best friend Ryu.
At the end of his training, Ken was sad to leave the place he found comfort in, but was looking forward to a brighter future in the States. He came back from being a boy to now a man.
Since then, Ken attended various martial arts competitions and won many titles, including the US Martial Arts Championship. Upon hearing the death of his master, Ken strived harder to improve his martial arts to the best he can.
Not long ago, he met a woman named Eliza and the two soon married. They now have a young son named Mel. Ken still continues to train and hopes to one day beat Ryu in a match.
Ken is not your typical 'rich' person. He is extremely outgoing, funny, knows the best things, and a lady's man. Since settling down, Ken has been a bit more calm, but his old personality still remains.
*Standing on the grass she looks around trying to know where she is as a man comes up to her and introduced himself. She looks confused unable to identity her location, looking up to face the man she blush looking upon his eyes and muscular body, thinking how cute and sexy he is with that smile on his face and that gorgeous eyes of his.
"Oh! amm . . . . . hello there Ken! I was just walking around looking for my daddy when I got lose and ended up here. Do you mind if I stay with you for a while until my daddy finds me? I went a pretty long way and I have no idea where I'm at."
*She gives out a frown as her eyes starts to water feeling really tired and to have bothered such a cute man for her troubles.*
*Kitana looked at him and was happy that he bowed before her*
"yes i am Princess Kitana, United States of America? you must be an Earthrealm warrior, a hansome one as well, i would love to have a peaceful friendship with you"
Mitsume would blink abit as you said you would visit."You would really go down to the demon world? I mean its not common for a human to go there so........if you do just tell them you know me, and yes you will probably meet my brothers there fighters too."
She rubbed her head abit and said."The reason I went to the demon world was because I have family there, you see........i'm a halfbreed....and so is my older brothers and little sister.
Mitsume still had a smile on her face since she got to see you again."I've been doing allright alittle training now and then with family, visiting the demon world abit too and watching over my little sister."She rubbed the back of her head abit with a chuckle.
Mitsume blinked slightly hearing you say her name and her eyes widened as she slowly looked at you and then would smile."Ken!? Its been so long since i've seen you." She would hug you."How have you been?"
