Kenneth Benson Jr. has been in love with music since the day he arrived on this earth on November 2, 1988. At the tender age of two, he was known for beating everything he could get his hands on. At the age of ten, Kenneth finally got his chance on the drums at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas,TX. After two years of playing at the church he decided to lay down the sticks and pick up the violin. At the age of thirteen, he auditioned and made it into W.E Greiner Exploratory Arts Middle school on the violin. While there, he was involved in the orchestra and the string quartet. After two successful years there, he decided to put down the violin and focus on his first love the drums. At the age sixteen, he played for New Horizon Worship Center and soon was blessed to receive a better gig at First Baptist of Forney(fbcforney.org/). Now, Kenneth is attending Cedar Valley College in Lancaster,TX, where he is currently the drummer for Lab Band and the Percussion Ensemble. Some of the artist that he has played for are Tim Clifton with Purpose, Lincoln High "Chosen Voices", Johnny Mack and the Crew,Zanzala and currently Quintessa. Be on the lookout for this upcoming drummer as he continues to progress and soar to the top. Kenneth exclusively use's Pacific Drums(The Best), Vater and Vic Firth Sticks, Pearl Pedals, Remo Drumheads and Sabian cymbals. ............
