Kenny Brown was Born in New Orleans, where he started to play bass at the church at the age of eight; Guitar player and singer, with jazz influence, as well as blues and soul, Kenny is a fine example of the mix of the city..s cultural references. He has played with known artists such as The Neville Brothers, Bobby Womack, Marva Wright, Gloria Gaynor, Beau Jones, besides having taken part in Jam sessions with Guns n Roses..guitar player Slash, ans Stevie Ray Vaughan, at his performances at the 544 Club. He first came o Brazil along with sax player Gary Brown, his cousin and musical mentor, and fell in love with the local energy. In his set list the variety and mixture of the black rithyms from his city, craddle of the afro american music. As if the guitar solos wheren..t enough, kenny Brown has a voice quite unique, strong and pleasant. He gets you into the music.The connection with the public spreads a an relaxed atmpsphere, playing classics such as Before You Acuse, Stand by Me and What a Wonderful World. As he defined himself, his music strolls through the blues with bits of Funk and Soul, his true roots. His talent and skill at the guitar brings on the spotlight. His laughs and way of conducting the music, his slang, everything drives on to the melting pot of bluesman and showman that Kenny is. **************************************************************** Kenny Brown nasceu em New Orleans onde começou a tocar baixo na igreja aos oito anos de idade. Guitarrista e cantor, com influências do jazz, do blues e do soul, Kenny é um típico exemplo da miscelânea de referências culturais da cidade do jazz e do blues. Já tocou com artistas de peso como os Neville Brothers, Bobby Womack, Marva Wright, Gloria Gaynor, Beau Jones, além de ter participado de Jam Sessions com Slash (guitarrista dos Guns..n..Roses) e Stevie Ray Vaughan, em suas apresentações no 544 Club. Veio ao Brasil pela primeira vez acompanhando o saxofonista Gary Brown, seu primo e padrinho musical e se apaixonou pela energia local. No seu repertório a ecleticidade e riqueza do berço da música negra americana, chamado de New Orleans. Como se não bastassem os fraseados da guitarra que falam por si só, Kenny Brown é possuidor de uma voz bastante firme e bonita. Ele faz você entrar na música. A interação com o publico dá um ar de descontração, tocando clássicos como Before You Acuse, Stand By Me e What a Wonderful World. Como ele mesmo definiu, sua música passeia pelo Blues com pitadas de Funk e Soul, como as próprias raízes pedem. O talento e a pegada da guitarra chamam a atenção.
