K.C. is from New Orleans and plays at clubs & festivals around the nation as well as internationally.
"This is Rock of attrition, (Kenny Claiborne) is a musical juggernaut, an armageddon machine powered by the crashingest rhythm drive ever unleashed upon an innocent public. Seeing (Kenny Claiborne) for the first time may be compared to going into battle against Hannibal and coming face-to-face with armored elephants-you don't know whether to flee for your life or stand and watch this incredible sight and thus risk being ground under foot."
The K.C.3 is the newest project; a New take on the New Wave music that inspired K.C. way back in the day. With a more focused feel, new songs by K.C. and new material with his original writing partner Jimi Cass, it's really back to the future.
The HASSLE FREE THREE is an acoustic trio; a friendly mix of original and classic songs. You can't tell where the party ends and the band begins!
Kenny Claiborne was born and raised in New Orleans. He has been in and around the New Orleans music scene in a variety of ways; as a band leader, musician, manager, club owner, writer, and facilitator. Kenny was a founding partner of the Mermaid Lounge, a legendary New Orleans nightclub.
He is also one of the founders, and sustainers of the Frenchmen Street music scene in New Orleans.
Currently, K.C. is also playing bass in Strawberry(you'll know soon enough) and guitar in One Dread(punky reggae).
During Hurricane Katrina,
Kenny stayed with his beloved city, creating and broadcasting "RADIO MARIGNY", a pirate radio operated from his home.
From the documentary City Adrift, here's an interview w/ Kenny Claiborne.
Kenny writes, plays, and performs with a fresh, honest style.
He continues to create from the wellspring that feeds both artists and lovers while sustaining the flow of music between himself and his city.
"New Orleans feeds me so much musically. I feel like you have to give back. You write one for her, she'll write one for you." -K.C.
Songwriting, musicianship, and a dramatic presence combine for a great show!
Chemistry, reckless fun, danger, sex, noise, poetry.. that which has been the heart and soul of rock & roll from the beginning of time.
So sit around the digital fire, pass around a bottle of cheap red, burn,

Hey Ken- I like the tunes- Baby Love a classic...Mark here(Stewhead), writing from Barry's page- I'm actually Barry too since he aint figured out no computter yet. In fact I iced out my page because my computter says only one person can use Myspace on that computter. So the "Stewhead" page is iced out for now. (That's why I cant be friends with new people.) But- I thought you might like the song on the Stewhead page "Cary Grant on LSD". I think Barry really did some good lyrics on that one...O yeah- I also have a long lost Fr.Ticklers recording that I uncovered about 4 years ago. If you're interested I'll burn a copy...Cheers- Mark
