I have a terrific new B3 Trio that Breaths new life into this old form know as HardBop under the Melodic creativity of Michael Leasure Jazz Guitarist and world renown composer of Classical/Jazz he exhibits extreme fire and fluidity to any music infront of him! Jeff LoForte on drums and Personal Business Mgr this man has seen it all and knows the ropes of the Business being Drummer for Eddie and Bobby Buster for 9 yrs as a young man gave him all the education for Hardbop drumming he ever needed!Backing up such Greats as Sonny Stitt Gene Ammons and Hosting many cutting floor sessions for kids studying at Berklee in the early 70's a truly gifted drummer that will Burn with any B3 player on the planet! Rounding out the Trio I have been to many Countrys and States playing Blues and Rock always having a passion for Hammond B3 Jazz organ music since I was a kid I decided to apply myself to become a Jazz organist and pay tribute to my Mentors a job I don't take lightly! I learn from everybody I love listening to all B3er's! One of my greatest musical achievements was to play with Ray Charles Bari Sax/Bandleader for 25 yrs Leroy Hog Cooper he loved B3 music we had many wonderful gigs together w/ The Josh Miller Blues Review I have recorded on 2 CDs for Steve Thorpe released on Cashbox Records afilliate to Cashbox Magazine Please Check this Incredible Trio out ! Review The Blues Orchestra includes Nathan Thorpe on bass, Tom Bayes on drums , who is also on the Steve A. Miller CD “Goin Home,” and the incredibly talented keyboardist Kenny Clarke. His playing litterally stands tall along side Thorpe’s ripping guitar as his agile fingers tear into the keys with passion and deliverance. The sound quality of this live recording is dynamic and absorbed in clarity. I will in the future be looking for his live performance even if I have to venture into gator country to do so. - Dirk Wissbaum .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. I play keys on occassion for Blind Pig Recording Artist Big Bill Morganfield who is Muddy Waters son and is keeping the family tradition of the great Delta/Chicago blues alive!..I have worked and recorded 2 cd's with Steve Thorpe who is presently signed with Lost Gold/CSI South recording label which have 2 cd's Trouble and the new one Live at Lou's Blues. www.myspace.com/stevethorpeblues ..I have done sessions and played with over the years Paul Chapman awesome guitar player /songwriter from UFO,WAYSTED and presently,GATOR COUNTRY which is made up of a lot of MOLLY HATCHET alumni . Country artist Ray Allaire vocalist/songwriter Kenny Michaels and drummer Don (tree)Rees who was a Phil Specter session player I'm presently looking forward to do some recording with a terrific talent Mr Billy Chapman check him out! I also have the great pleasure of working with Billy and his group on occasion.I have also recorded with a dear friend of mine Buzzy Meekins who I met working and recording with Steve Thorpe and look forward to doing a new christian project with him in the near future! My main thing right now is presently 2 projects of mine KC Connection which is Kenny Cohen on Sax:Tom DeQuattro on Drums: Matt Heister on Guitar; Kenny Clarke on Hammond B3 takin it back to a True Traditional form of Jazz-n-Blues a must see! and THe Kenny Clarke Trio which also has Tom DeQuattro on Drums:Scott McGill on Bass: and Kenny Clarke on Piano playing the great standards in the Errol Garner tradition which is a lot of fun for me and a Great Challenge! I also have been playing some dates with George Terry of Eric Clapton Band and musician on many studio albums from criteria studios in Miami . this has been a great treat and honor to work with such a nice and talented man. I'm working with Josh Miller Trio It 's a great pleasure to work with Josh and Tom DeQuattro awesome musicians and just awesome people!     I try to sponge from everyone right now i'm in a Dr Lonnie Smith groove look out this man is hot! Truly admire the Jimmy Smith on this instrument R.I.P !I have been greatly influenced by the late great Charles Earland & Larry Young Joey DeFrancesco is a must!There was a cat named Steve Miller who was extremely talented!RIP of course there is Jack McDuff, Larry Goldings ....the list is long Blessed are we for the Mighty Hip B3!I should give mention to Tony Monaco great player!Pat Bianchi Wow!
