Kenny Drew is a singer, songwriter, musician, and Christian from Jacksonville, Florida. Besides music, Kenny enjoys spending time with his family, movies, digital photography, traveling, good food, and just spending time with friends. With 24 years of musical experience and a variety of influences, Kenny's music is a unique blend of contemporary melodic rock. Various elements of pop, rock, and jazz are united with Kenny's soaring vocals in these melodic, uplifting songs about life and love. In 1984, Kenny began a musical journey playing bass guitar. Two years later, he started singing and gradually became a full time singer in various bands. Local bands turned into regional touring bands and Kenny's experience as both a singer and entertainer was honed in front of thousands of different people. Bands Kenny played/sang for include: Last Generation, Freeway, Prowler, Agent 86, Purple Heart, Mainframe, and Sweet Fancy Moses. Along the way, he picked up playing guitar, piano/keys, and drums. After years of watching bands come and go, he decided to build a studio and try making music with the only person he could constantly depend on... himself.
In 2003, Kenny Drew released his first solo CD with only the outside contribution of drums by a long time friend on three tracks of the CD. All the songs were written and performed by Kenny, and the tracks were also recorded and mastered in his studio as well. Since then, Kenny continues to make music and perform in various settings. Keeping more to a local level these days, he no longer has his dreams tied to the aspirations of others. The path that lies ahead is chosen from above, and that suits him just fine. Thanks for the add my friend. Jesus is alive ! Praise the Lord Today ! "And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him:lo,I have told you." Matthew 28:5-7 Have you talked to Him today ?
Greetings and admirations from here in the Emerald City! Thanx so very much for the add, I really enjoyed your work! Wishing you continued success eternal! "M"
