Kenny Jaworski is a musician who never set out to meet expectations as established by any genre or tradition. But, unlike many musical and artistic iconoclasts, he doesn't make any pronounced or overt effort to defy those expectations, either. What results is a pianist/composer with a sound and style that is solely his own, while still having a connection to a variety of artistic traditions.
He is exclusively a solo pianist/composer act, but only on his own terms. Therefore, his appeal is both unpredictable and profound, and his uniqueness, sincerity, and daring, emotional performances are gaining him ardent supporters everywhere from the most common listener all the way over to the most selective, as well as from ages 8 to 80 in concerts ranging from grade schools to benefit shows. All age groups have been represented at Kenny's shows, and every age group is represented in Kenny's fanbase.
His debut album, A Piano Saga, was recorded live in concert on April 14, 2005, and in an age where every single musical execution of a recording can be augmented, deleted, repeated, even replaced entirely with a more desired sound, Saga is a completely and utterly undoctored, authentic live experience. It is a live, unedited, 'take one' debut album of all-original material. Some would say this is a striking anomaly in any age, let alone our technologically advanced one.
