About Kenny Sutter & The Ambush

Born in Columbus, Ohio Kenny was raised, and lived in St. Louis, MO most of his life. He began his musical journey by receiving a Professional Arts - Broadcasting degree from Broadcast Center, St. Louis, MO in 1976. By the end of 1977 Kenny had landed an "on-air" position at Real Rock Radio K-SHE 95 where he continued to DJ until 1982 when he moved from his afternoon drive time slot to evenings at "The Rockin' Best" KWK St. Louis. Kenny returned to K-SHE radio 2 years later before retiring from broadcasting in 1985. Kenny was also an "on-air" personality at KLIB Liberal KS, KQYX/KSYN Joplin MO as well as KADI St. Louis MO. Since then Kenny has been entertaining live audiences in various types of presentations. He has performed for the 1999 Super bowl Champion St. Louis Rams, the 1994 United States Olympic Festival and the 1994 Senior Olympics just to name a few. Kenny was also recently crowned the winner of WIL Radio's Kountry-oke Competition at Riverport Amphitheater prior to a Montgomery Gentry concert. Kenny is currently promoting his newest releases "I Love Country Music" and "A Day At A Time". Kenny Sutter And The Ambush's new release "A Day At A Time" can now be heard on St. Louis KSD-FM 93.7 The Bull web site. Check it out and give it a listen! We'll be featured if it gets listened to enough :-) Kenny can also be seen as a regular cast member of "The Big Brother And Itchy Show" aired on Friday nights @ midnight on The Charter Cable Network and Double Helix Television.
