Once in a blue moon, a musician of such outstanding quality appears on the horizon that it is a truly awe-inspiring event. San Francisco Bay Area-based Kenon Chen is just that. His depth of emotion, passion and artistry; the connection he makes with his audience; and the pure quality he weaves into his music create a magical melting pot of endless possibilities – not unlike Kenon himself.
Currently, Kenon is playing listening rooms on the West Coast and opening in larger venues for more established acts. His first release in the UK, “Tied Up” debuted in January 2004 to much critical acclaim. “Tied Up” has also been featured recently in a upcoming feature film titled “The Californians”, in which Kenon plays the role of a performing guitarist in his big screen debut.
Kenon is currently recording his first major release set for early 2008 and is working on various film and production projects.
