Jeez, wassup? Always thinking of you, hope life is a good thing these days. Putzing along ok here, just did a session (3 actually) for a documentary film about cowboy ethics, a friend is doing the music....actually SANG the tune that goes over the credits, and had a great fiddle player on the session too..good stuff. Be safe, best from the prairie somewhere...HHH
After scouring around to find the cd's to accompany the score's and I have to say I'm addicted. Some of his stuff is like of Brian "Lustmord" William did oratorio's and orchestra. Its just great.
hey there ken, the stuff i have heard sounds as good as ever and the stuff i haven't heard sounds better....and hey man, I really think you should invest yourself in a live band only to know what that thing is like and grow off on its own peculiar thing------>plus i think you'd love it (mostly) and kick ass at it (especially). love and hugs and comics and siamese step-brother bowling alley daycare comrade, dan
same goes to you my good friend ! how's the music and math going on, i'm sure you never stop to explore all the coolness in them :) , take care bro Ken !
Excellent. I shall check out Utrenja. I'm also trying to find the score for his first violin concerto, but the school only has his second, which I assume will be just as good. Thanks again for the suggestions, can't wait to hear some interesting music.
I've been meaning to ask this for a bit, but I remember reading you like Penderecki and was wondering what pieces of his you like. I only have his 4th Symphony and at school they have his second violin concerto, The Burial of Christ, St. Luke's Passion, and Te Deum I believe. I must say is always fun to read modern music notation in piece such as his too.
