Grew up playing violin and singing in choruses and choirs -- so my first love is Classical music.
So here are two of Richard Strauss' Four Last Songs on poetry by Hermann Hesse "the unguarded spirit wants to float free on wings...live deeply and a thousandfold" performed by the incomparable Elisabeth Schwarzkopf.
During college got to liking the Mamas and the Papas and similar groups. Didn't like rock much until the late '60's and acid rock came along, plus groups like Led Zeppelin. Still listen to the ballads -- Loggins and Messina, Cat Stevens. Love Annie Lenox and Pat Benatar. Kind of took a break in the late 80's and the 90's. Certain friends are trying to resuscitate me with groups like Alter Bridge -- we shall see if I am beyond hope! lol!

lol. I never really understood what "Keeping it real" meant, but I'll take that as a compliment! I've been working my ass off trying to find legit acting work in L.A. lately. It seems everyone wants a comprehensive acting resume, though. :/ Other than that, though, things are quite well. I'm sorry we haven't met for dinner yet, though. Don't leave before we do!
