the music is constantly changing and developing however in the past has been likened to: ben folds and the whitlams, more recently a travelling journo penned the quote "you sound like the Australian David Gray"
Blending urban lyrics & folk grooves with charm and a proudly Australian ruggedness, Kent Eastwood is an artist to keep on your radar. His songs and live performances are a tonic for wherever you are and whatever you're feeling.
Kent has supported Aria awarding winning artist Mia Dyson and performed onstage with Claire Bowditch during her Winter Secrets tour. His debut album Through the Days has received airplay nationally including on Triple J, and he recently toured the East coast from Adelaide to Brisbane, in support of the album, gaining new fans & friends along the way.
The first single Differences released from Through the Days appeared
on the Sounds Like Cafe compilation CD (Foghorn Records) alongside
other aussie artists including Paul Kelly & Abby Dobson. Better Place
his current single can be requested on stations including Triple J, Radio Adelaide, Triple R and PBS - Melbourne & Artsound - Canberra.
