With more than 10 years of studio experience, Hz Productions handles every aspect of album production — from artist development to final album mixing. Kent Hertz’s myriad abilities as a co-writer, producer, and engineer have made the multi-faceted producer a highly sought-after resource in the music business. Garnering industry-wide praise for both his professional and personal devotion to his artists, Hertz’s unyielding love for rock and roll has led to collaborations with rock and roll legends, as well as some of today's biggest artists. Cutting his teeth in renown studios such as Miami's Hit Factory and Masterfonics in Nashville, Hertz’s noticeable production talents were soon in high-demand. Teaming up with Fugees front-woman Lauren Hill, Missy Elliott, Enrique Iglesias, and others, Hertz’s first projects saw the producer working one-on-one with these artists on upcoming major-label releases. In 2008 the producer began work with rock icon Steve Miller. Recording at the musician's private studio, Hertz and Miller—along with producer Andy Johns (Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Van Halen)—recently wrapped up production for Miller's forthcoming album due out later this year.
