Hey there - I'm a Brooklyn, NY-based composer, clarinetist & saxophonist. Here's some stuff I've written. Hope you enjoy it.
Info about the tracks: Wanderangst is by my new project, Slow/Fast. That's me on bass clarinet with Russ Johnson, trumpet, Nir Felder, gtr, Adam Armstrong, bass, and Fred Kennedy, drums. This is on our upcoming album "It Would Be Easier If." We're playing the Winter Jazzfest in NYC on Saturday, Jan 9.
Side Effects May Include - a live performance from the GUTBUCKET ORCHESTRA live show at Monkeytown in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, January 2009. That's Gutbucket with some friends (Alex Hamlin on baritone sax, Pete Wise on vibes, Tom Gavin on 2nd (electric) bass). The studio version is on our record "A Modest Proposal" on Cuneiform.
Throw Back. was written for Ty Citerman (guitar) and Beth Meyers (solo viola) plus a string quintet and 6 people playing drumsticks on the floor.

I play in groups Gutbucket, Anti-Social Music, World/Inferno Friendship Society, Signal, Fire in July, the Dirty Sock Funtime Band, the No Net Trio, and more. I've started a new project of my music called "Slow/Fast."
When I'm lucky I get to play with folks like Alarm Will Sound, So Percussion, Ethel, and the M Shanghai String Band. I am on faculty of the Bang on a Can Summer Music Festival.
