2003年より日本を代表するサルサバンドであるORQUESTA DE LA LUZに参加、アルバム「iBANZAAAY!」、自作曲がタイトル曲にもなったアルバム「ARCO IRIS」、NYライブをおさめたDVD「SALSA FOR PEACE」のリリース、アメリカ・ヨーロッパ・カリブなどでの数々のツアーなど精力的に活躍した。
2007年夏 同バンドを退団しソロアーティストとしての活動を本格化。ピアノ主体の楽曲にelectronica、jazz、rock...多様な要素をルーツに立ち返った北国的センスで独自の世界に昇華。2008年2月16日 自らrecording、mix down、ジャケット写真まで手がけた1st solo album "From The Country" を北海道発の新進気鋭レーベル、bootrecordよりリリース。

Started my career as a musician from 1998 in Tokyo.
I have been working with lots of major pops artists of Japan---supporting their tour,
playing in recordings, composing and arranging songs.
And from 2003, became a member of "Orquesta de la luz" .
The band is worldwide famous japanese salsa band.
(Example: In 1993, the United Nations awarded them the "Peace Medal" and in 1995 they were nominated for the Grammy Awards in the category of "Best Tropical Latin Album." )
on the band, released albums and DVD(performance in NYC), toured in North
america,Latin america,and in Eourope.
After leaving the band in 2007, released 1st solo album "from the country" in February 2008.

Akasaki has recently been performing one of my songs, “It’s Time to Get
