Biography Time-Line

1989 > Influenced by turntablism; Ken purchases all the equipment to begin Dj’ing hip hop and performs at various parties and events.

1992 > The rave scene enters Toronto and Ken made a new path in his music selection to Hardcore Techno, under the pseudonym Viper.

1993 > Ken launched the five hour radio program ‘RUSH’ on CHRY 105.5 FM in Toronto, Dj’ing a range of electronic music, using separate names to differentiate the genres; Viper provided the Hardcore and Jungle whilst KenFinch.ca supplied the House and Techno sounds. > Viper is the first Dj to play Happy Hardcore on the North America radio airwaves

1994 > Organizing raves and club events, Ken introduced Toronto to world class gatherings, providing the best international and local Dj talent with crowds of over 4000 in attendance.

1997 > International Dj bookings begin in Detroit, USA followed by performances across Canada, the USA and the UK.

1998 > Weekly Dj performances begin with residencies for companies that include Good Vibes, U4EA, Nightmare, System Soundbar, Drop Zone, The Electronic City, Audio Werks, and Eye-Q.

2000 > Studio production begins with Happy Hardcore. > House music production follows as part of the Digital Tribe collective continuing with work in Hard House, Hard Techno, nuNRG and Hard Trance.

2001 > KenFinch.ca partners up with Lady Bass and become the most in demand hard dance Dj team in North America > Host and resident Dj of ‘Most Wanted Sessions’ on the Global Groove Network, 100.7 FM for North America’s most prestigious Dj booking agency Most Wanted Entertainment. > Sponsorship is obtained by CHILLS; www.ChillsDjs.com

2002 > Host and resident Dj of ‘Evolution Radio’ on Real Groove 89.5 FM. > Ken performs in various cities across Canada for the Chills Dj Tour. > Ken is hired as the primary Happy Hardcore, Hard House and Trance buyer for North America’s largest record distribution company, Fully Loaded Distribution. > Ken is hired as the primary Happy Hardcore, Hard House, and Trance buyer at Eastern Bloc Records.

2003 > Host and resident Dj of ‘Motion Radio’ on www.club246.com broadcasting every Thursday night 10pm to midnight EST. > Host and resident Dj of ‘Club 246 Radio’ broadcasting every Tuesday night 4am to 5am EST on 100.7 FM in Toronto and Western New York and simulcast on 97.9 FM in Ottawa, Ontario and Hull, Quebec. > Ken is hired as the primary Happy Hardcore, Hard House and Trance buyer at 2theBeat Records.

2004 > Ken joins SkratchWorld.com radio as a co-host with Lady Bass broadcasting every Monday night 8pm - 10pm EST on www.club246.com. > Ken is asked to join the Blackmoon Sound Crew, based in Toronto, Blackmoon is Canada's most sought after Hard Techno Dj collective

2005 > Ken is booked to perform overseas in London, England > Music production continues in collaboration with Patrick DSP, Che DuBois, Lady Bass, Mz.DeMemeaner and Tripnotic
