I love animals it doesn't really matter if they are cats or dogs. My dream is to one day own a golden retriever.
I also love reading and writing poetry. I believe it was
Amiri Baraka who said all art is political. At the time I didn't concur with him, but when I look over most of my poems they are political in content wether inadvertently
or advertently written that way. I find myself writing about racism and the homeless in society. And parts of the world where people are oppressed. I have been blessed to write over 100 poems. I also love to travel I have been to London, Ghana and Zimbabwe and Mexico. I was blessed with a wonderful trip to Africa with my church. At the time we went to Zimbabwe, the people of Zimbabwe were just receiving their liberation! It was so wonderful to see history unfold. The people in Zimbabwe are so beautiful they embrace you, my brother, my sister. And you haven't tasted anything until you have tasted the food in Ghana.I like languages I speak Spanish, French Latin and Korean. I also love sports and none of that spectator sports stuff! I like to play!
I love jet skiing, I'm an out doorsy kinda girl so I like to fish ,go camping as well. I've been known to play baseball and basketball with the guys and yeah I have a little game!
Music
I love Janet Jackson, Aerosmith, Sade, Death Leopard, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, Journey, Pearl Jam, Bon Jovi, Tupac Shakur,Roxette

About me: Kenya Kimball relocated from Chicago IL, to Los Angeles CA. She does miss the winters terribly, she does miss home. However, She loves acting and recognizes how imperative it is to be on the West Coast to pursue her field.... Ever since Kenya was a kid, she was born of ambition. Kenya attended Marva Collins School on the Westside of Chicago IL, where she studied Latin, French and Voltaire all in the 3rd and 4th grade.
Her serious pursuit and love for education prompted her to jump from the 4th grade to the 6th. This is where she was also bitten by the acting bug...... After doing CNN Broadcast because of her smarts. Kenya graduated with all A's and B's to attend The Chicago Academy for the Performing Arts.... where she won a full acting scholarship beating out over 500 students many of which had commercial and film credits to their name.......
She later went on to Yale Summer Drama Program where she received a scholarship for acting..... She made such a splash, the head of the theater department was hailing her a phenomenal actress..... Kenya was later sought after by Depaul University and Roosevelt University where she also received an acting scholarship...... This bad actress chose instead Columbia College where obtaining the Deans List her first year in school. Kenya is so cool..... She has received numerous awards, among them Who's Who Among American High School Students.... Only 14,000 kids in the world are honored with such a prestigious award.......
You can find her in the "Who's Who Among American High School students" library, as a recipient.... Kenya is such a tough sister, She was cast on the hit tv show ......
"Sneak Previews", at age 15, her first tv show ever...... featuring Michael Medved the nationally syndicated radio host and best-selling author, and veteran film critic Jeffrey Lyons who host Reel Talk on NBC... Produced by Nicoleteet Ferri ...... The show was called
"Screened by Teens".... After which Michael Medved was so impressed by her talents that he wrote her a letter of recommendation to Yale University.......
his alma mater....... Kenya's second tv show was called
"U Dance with B96".... This was a chance for her to manifest her impeccable dance and choreagraphy skills...... She later went on to star in
"One Monkey Don't Stop no Show" by the late great Don Evans at the ETA Theater in Chicago IL. This was her first lead role in a play.... She won critical acclaim by Don Evans. Kenya has also studied with Jackie Taylor and
Joyce and Byrne Piven, parents of Jeremy Piven at the prestigious Piven Theater Workshop located in Evanston IL. Kenya was once again the proud recipient of an acting scholarship...... With all of this Kenya remains grounded and humble at heart looking for a way to express her art and talents..............

God is so good! Since being in LA I have written and directed, produced and starred in my first short film called, "Confessions" which is currently on my myspace page please check it out! The girl sitting on the ground yeah that's me. God is so amazing. That was quite an adventure. I even participated in the editing process.
My hobbies include walking by the lake, writing poetry.
I also love Roller-Blading and Tae Kwan Do. God is so good. My next big venture getting an agent wish me luck. That's a little bit about me. Before I go I wanted to share with you one of my favorite poems that I wrote when I was 12 I hope you like it!
"Split Second"
By Kenya Kimball
I wish I was out there among the moon, the stars
and the trees, turning all my dreams into make believe.
Make believe for me, make believe for you, I wish my dreams would some day come true. Ok I admit it, that's a lie. I want my dreams to come true today or I feel I might die. Die from anticipation die from disbelief. It's not always easy to have faith and keep the peace. The peace in your heart and the peace in your mind. How come I always feel like I'm running out of time?
