Hey.Finally I`m here.I am a Toronto based harmonica player.Originally I am from Kamakura,Japan.It is an old city 1 hour away from Tokyo.I came to Toronto in 1994.Wow,Already 13 years.
I play with Julian Fauth, Jay Clark & The Jones,Mike O`Grady Band, Uncle Herb, Bill Heffernan, Dick Ellis Revival, Tomi Kumic.Alos I do my own gig as ken Yoshioka Blues Band/Duo/Trio,,etc. I got my 1st CD "I Love Harp" out in 2006.It is a 10 track blues album featuring myself on harmonica,guitar and vocals,and Kenmi Chank on guitar.He is awesome. 2006 was a good year,also because a documentary movie about me "Harmonica Man From Japan"was produced by a Japanese Director Eiko Watanabe and it was one of the feature attractions at Japanese Short Film Festival.
I published a few harmonica instrictional books in Japan.New one was just released in February."hajimete no Blues Harp".
