I am a busy wife and Mother of a home-schooled 5th grader with a 5 year old as well. I am 100% Aries, you may as well know it from the start. I get bored easy and irritated even easier. I believe in Stimulation and not Simulation. The word hobby is so far beneath me I can't even stress that enough, what I do is lifestyle. I am a folk artist, a gardener, a damn good cook and I like to write poetry. Prose is a gift for me and seems to roll out my mind and off my tongue, mostly when I am lost in a sink full of bubbles and dishes. Inspiration comes from everywhere and I am not prejudice to its origins.
My family is the most important thing in the world to me and everything and everyone else needs take a backseat. I aim to be just like my Grandma Blanche, but sadly her little size 7's are way too big of shoes for me to fill and my aim is still quite off - but as the saying goes...aim for the moon and miss-you still land amongst the stars.... but like I said, I am an Aries and I want the moon!
My "spare time" is spent either in my shop or lanscaping my yard. I have put in a fairly decent tea garden and am now making and selling my own herbal teas. This spring will see a couple flats of new herbs going in. Can't wait. Spring is like Christmas. All the old and new plants popping up everywhere, like packages just for me!
My shop is right in between my little garden(I have 3) and my kids play area. I can work and watch them at the same time. This is great because I can see them happy and they can see me working. Every once in awhile, my 11 year old helps me out in the shop and he does a great job sanding. This is something I want to do more and more. His childhood is so precious and fleeting. I am watching him grow everyday and tho happy about him growing up so well, I miss him too; because they don't just grow up-they grow away. Anytime spent with him is wonderful.
My 5 year old wants to help as well, but does not want to sand, that is not big enough for him. He wants to use the cut-off saw and the drill press. Mama's boy! Needless to say, all things are ALWAYS unplugged and up high! My husband is wonderful and encouraging. He inspires me to be better than I am. A sweeter man you'll never meet. You don't get much more perfect! I'd tell you more about him, but I'd hate to see you blush!
And I think thats all you need to know about me!
So, I have to say, thanks again for my bridal and baby showers! I hosted my first baby shower last week for my boss, and holy crap, they are alot of work. So i just wanted to let you once again how much I appreciate the ones you did for me! :) And give Devin a birthday hug for me! Love, -Jenzo-
