A double-cd compilation called Helsinki Cooler Vol.3 has been released by Cymbidium Records. Keramick & Lobo's track "Lite House" is featured on the electronic/chill-out disc of the album. Keramick & Lobo is a project by two long time friends and emerging electronic music producers Jussi Mikkonen and Visa Mäkinen hailing from Helsinki, Finland. They have been experimenting with hip hop, downtempo and such since their young teens. Both of them have a background in musical studies and a great passion for producing the electronic sounds.
The music of the duo can be described as melodic and electro-acoustic. As their sound borrows a lot from electronic music styles such as idm, downtempo, ambient and glitch, it also compiles the characteristics of acoustic music like jazz, dub, pop and even a bit of rock. This reflects in a heavy use of instruments such as electric bass, electric and acoustic guitar, keyboards and drums mixed together in a subtle fusion with the computer programming and electronic aspects. Their newer music also features guest musicians, which widens their instrumental spectrum with instruments like acoustic bass, reed and brass instruments and even vocalists.
The roots of their musical influences and own earlier projects are based in alternative hiphop, but the later side- and soloprojects (Talamus, K.V.N & Lobo, Magikmick, Visa Maekinen, Jussi Mikkonen) have branched heavily into more electronic genres like minimal techno, house and electronic jazz, still maintaining the hiphop aspect in some of the projects. The duo also forms an improvisational collective KLAH with trumpetist Aki Himanen and is based on improvising electronic music. Aki has often been a part of Keramick & Lobo's live act and they have been known to perform improvised pieces as a part of the concert.
The debut-album Digital White was released as a small pressing through their own indie-label Freaky Beats Productions in July of 2007 and was re-released in worldwide mp3-distribution by Exogenic Breaks Records in October 2008. The follow-up album "The Braille" will be released 12.8.2009 by Exogenic Breaks Records in CD- and digital formats.

Keramick & Lobo on Jussi Mikkosen ja Visa Mäkisen 2006 vuonna perustettu elektroakustista musiikkia tuottava yhtye, joka on levyttänyt kaksi kokopitkää albumia. Nämä helsinkiläistuottajat ovat tunteneet toisensa jo nuoresta pitäen sekä opiskelleet yhdessä eri yhtyesoitinten hallintaa ja musiikin teknologiaa. Molemmilla heistä on taustaa hiphopin, downtempon ja useiden muiden eri elektronisen musiikin tyylilajien tuottamisessa. Keramick & Lobon musiikkia voi kuvailla melodiseksi, elokuvalliseksi ja omaehtoiseksi populaarimusiikiksi.
Yhtyeen tyylillinen perusajatus on elektronisen ja akustisen äänimaailman luonteva yhdistäminen. He tuottavat modernia pop-musiikkia lainaten elementtejä mm. rockista, dubista ja jazzista. Erilaiset konemusiikin tyylilajit, kuten ambient, techno, glitch ja triphop luovat materiaaliin omaa sähköistä jännitettään, kun taas orgaaniset elementit ilmenevät kitaroiden, basson, puhaltimien ja jousisoitinten hyödyntämisessä musiikilliseen kokonaisuuteen. Ensimmäisestä levystään poiketen, he ovat tehneet uudella julkaisullaan yhteistyötä useiden eri solistien kanssa, mukaan lukien mm. laulajat Markus Savijoki ja Eeppi Ursin.
Mikkosen ja Mäkisen musiikilliset juuret pohjautuvat vaihtoehtoiseen hiphoppiin, mutta tämän hetkiset soolo- ja sivuprojektit (Talamus, K.V.N & Lobo, Magikmick, Visa Maekinen, Jussi Mikkonen) edustavat vahvasti elektronisempia tyylilajeja, mm. minimal technoa, housea ja elektronista jazzia. Talamus-yhtyeessä vaikuttava trumpetisti Aki Himanen on ollut tärkeässä roolissa myös Keramick & Lobon live-esiintymisissä. Konserteissa voi todistaa usein kolmikon improvisoituja teoksia.
Debyyttialbumi "Digital White" julkaistiin pienenä painoksena indie-merkki Freaky Beats Productionsin alla kesällä 2007. Cd-painoksen myytyä loppuun, levy julkaistiin vuoden päästä digitaalisesti Exogenic Breaks Recordsin toimesta. Tuleva kokopitkä albumi "The Braille" julkaistaan 12.8.2009 Exogenic Breaksiltä cd- ja mp3-formaateissa.

Adviruz is the artist psedonym of Istanbul’s Pinar Gurcan, whose growing passion for sound is translated through her music. Since an early age, she has been listening and mimicking opera singers, writing melodies, songs and poems in which she spoke her mind and reflected her soul. All of which are evident on "Nightly Sounds", an 8 track album which is the equivilent of having a glimpse into a diary, learning of love lost, gained, a snapshot of the human condition from which we can all draw experience... All of these things are developed musically into minimalistic glitch, noise, idm, experimental music and microsounds, its influences reminiscent of work by artists like Tujiko Noriko, Mira Calix, Plaid and Björk.
