We want to present varied types of music at Kerbside Prophets, from alternative rocky funky bluesey type through to latino, Celtic, folky sounds too.
We want to present the acts that we know are working hard on the live circuit just now but we also want to bring artists and groups that you may not see so often.
We be delighted if you are a musician of any genre or ability if you would message us and put yourself up to be a Kerbside Prophet.

Started in 2007, Kerbside Prophets has been running for a year and a half now bringing weekly live acoustic music to people who share our belief in the quality musicians right on our doorstep here in Edinburgh.
We have well established names from Edinburgh and the surrounding area, spanning many genres giving a real flavour of the diversity in the Capital at the moment and we want to bring you a slice of that. See the Friends list below for some of the acts that have graced our weekly event. I'm sure you'll agree, these evenings are not to be missed.
These leisurely usually Acoustic showcases offer a chance to wind down in a comfortable environment which aims to present the music in its purest form, and really try to give a feel of a real session. I have tried throughout to remove the barriers between musician and crowd, so much so the acts sit right beside you. It's a great event, attended in equal number by musicians and music lovers.
This event is not to be confused with an open mic session, all the acts are by appointment and give of thier time willingly to come and play for you. This guarantees a high standard of music at each event and makes sure we can provide an eclectic mix of styles. So if you would like to come play, message me, and if you're just starting out and require a relaxed arena to show your songs, let me know and we'll discuss it.
If you are interested in performing as a Kerbside Prophet, please do message us or mail Kerb_side@hotmail.co.uk. I also work closely with other Acoustic nights, brought to Edinburgh's conciousness by Acoustic Edinburgh, Identity Parade, Southbound Sessions and Hollow Heart Parlour to keep right up to speed on the best acts in tyhe City.
So please do come down, grab a drink and let our Kerbside Prophets tell you how they see things............
