HardrockPunkPop, or whatever you want to call it...you'll find that Kerho is about the rock'n'roll fun, energy and drive, putting smile on your face!
Kerho was formed in 2001 by Saska (drums) and Pauliina (vocals&guitar). Kerho recorded it's first demo at Gracelands studio in London, England in the spring of 2002.
In the spring of 2002 Saska and Pauliina moved to Helsinki. Ville (guitar until 2005) and Leena (bass until 2004) joined the band.
Poko Rekords released Kerho's 'Oikku' EP in May 2003 and after the release Kerho kept busy with touring around Finland.
During 2004 and 2005 Kerho's roster went through some changes as Juhana replaced Leena as new bass-player in 2004 and Lasse replaced Ville as new guitarist in the autumn of 2005. The year 2005 started off with extensive touring and recording Kerho's debut album.
At the end of 2005 Kerho was signed to Finnish indie-label Pajula Records. First single 'Anniina' was released and soon the debut album 'Ilta' followed on June 21st 2006. During and after 6 months of touring from April to September, Kerho went to studio again to record their second album 'Villikoirat' which was released on feb 21st 2007. Get your copy and enjoy!!
