Keri Noble came to Minneapolis seven years ago after falling in love with the musical community in the Twin Cities. But that’s not where the story begins. Living back and forth between Texas and Illinois, her family finally settled down in Michigan, where her father took a job as pastor of a bilingual church in southwest Detroit. Her upbringing exposed her to different cultures, which explains the diverse sound that makes her music unique.
Surrounded by gospel and urban music, it took a while for Noble to find her own voice. But the day she heard Joni Mitchell’s Blue, a whole new world opened up for her. She began writing and putting her words to music. The result is a beautiful mix of r&b, pop, and singer-songwriter.
In 2003, Keri signed with EMI/Manhattan. In March of ’04, she released her debut album, Fearless. Billboard magazine called it a sparkling, beautifully recorded debut. It was picked up in 22 worldwide markets. She had great success in Asia, with two top-ten hits, a song in the highest rated TV show, a song in a hit movie and a sold-out tour of the historic Blue Note clubs. She toured Germany, Spain, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and Holland.
Noble has opened for several major artists such as Cyndi Lauper, Jonny Lang, and BB King.
Noble left EMI in 2005 and signed on with JVC in Japan and Telarc Records here in the United States. She released her second album, Let Go, in Japan in November of 2007 and is working on the finishing touches for her sophomore CD to be released domestically. She will be touring the country this summer, with an EP of new material, in preparation for her full-length release in early ’09.
Fading is wonderfully honest. I remember I matter, too. It's from a difficult place, a place you've probably never been, but, to me this song is reminiscent of your earlier work and I do love it. All the best to you, Keri! Hope to see you in Michigan one day soon!
i saw you perform a few years back with jonny lang - acoustic tour - in durham. i fell in love with you, your words, the soul you put into your music. i had a seat in the front row of the third balcony and i cried with no shame for how your songs connected to my heart and my cirumstance. if no one will listen moved me to be a kinder spirit. hope you'll come back around this part of the country. a dream come true would be to meet you and spend some time with yet another amazing light in this world. i know so many and you are one i share with those i love.
I absolutely cannot wait to see you at the Guthrie! I got the email at like 6:55 and I think I had tickets by 7:10 last night!!! Also, I cannot wait for the new cd!!! I hate to wish time away but I CAN NOT WAIT til June 30th!

You can't begin to know the depths to which your songs "My Answered Prayer" and "If No One Will Listen" have profoundly soothed me and inspired my songwriting. Love you, Keri..thanks for all you do. Rosalinda Crimson Rose San Antonio
It's amazing just how Artists can capture what you're feeling at a particular moment. This was the first time I listened to "Watch Me Walk" and I feel like it could be the soundtrack to my life right now! You have a lovely voice.
I finally got Let Go as an import version and I just love it. Like many others of your fans, Ooh Oh was my favorite (it kept coming up on Pandora and haunting me) and I'm grateful to finally have a copy of it.
Can't wait for a chance to see you live in the US!
Thank you Keri for always been such a powerful inspiration for me. As a songwriter, I live for artists like you, as they make me keep believing that the world truly does appreciate artists that speak from the heart. You encourage me to speak from the heart about the truth I see in life
