Featuring a majestuous choir directed by Phil Gordana (FAIRYLAND),
a lyrical singer as guest vocalist, a tremendous cover artwork by master JP
Fournier (AVANTASIA, EDGUY) and mixed in Harkam Studio by Wildric Lievin (HAMKA,
FAIRYLAND) and Guillaume Serra. "Holy Creatures Quest" shows a powerful and
distinguished Symphonic Metal, direct and agressive one time, epic and poetic
the next one. Right away, KERION imposes itself as a real outsider in the genre.
Let you be tempted by this cleverly orchestrated symphonical concept... Back in
1997, KERION was an instrumental Prog Metal band at this time called KIRLIAN A
female singer, Flora, then joins the lineup and KERION heads towards Symphonic
Metal and release 2 demos conceptually based on a Heroic-Fantasy tale written by
Chris Barberi. "Conspiracy of Darkness" "The Last Sunset" Time is up now for the
first album. "Holy Creatures Quest" is written among the last part of Barberi's
"Staraxis" novel.
Le premier groupe originaire de Nice, formé en 1997, s’appelait KIRLIAN. Notre
style se rapprochait du Metal progressif instrumental. Les 2 guitaristes Sylvain
et Rémi en étaient les compositeurs. Après 1 an de collaboration, nous avons
commencé à tourner dans la région, jouant en majorité des compositions. Cela
nous a amené vers l’enregistrement d’une première démo en 2001. Nous avons
ensuite évolué vers un style plus speed métal plus en rapport avec nos goûts
musicaux. Malheureusement les choix de carrière après les études éloignent les
musiciens. Rémi a donc recruté Flora, chanteuse, qui était une amie de longue
date du groupe et KERION était formé en 2002. Une première démo "Conspiracy Of
Darkness Staraxis Part 1" est sortie en 2003. Cette démo était le début d'un
concept crée par Christophe (l'auteur du groupe ) en 3 parties. Elle fut
réaliser au chant en collaboration avec Elise, une amie, malheureusement la
qualité du son n’était pas à la hauteur! (Surtout pour la batterie). Nous avons
alors replanché sur de nouvelles compositions. 2005 enregistrement d'une
nouvelle démo "The Last Sunset"
suite du concept, dans un style métal symphonique. Dans "Time Of Fantasy" on retrouve la chorale
de Rimiez et en guest pour les choeurs sur le refrain Phil de
Fairyland.
HOLY
CREATURES QUEST
est le 1er album de Kerion, il représente la dernière partie de la trilogie "Staraxis"
écrite par Chris Barberi. Avec le retour de Syvlain, Sam et Stephane en décembre
2007. Ce concept-album est dans la continuité de ce qu'a produit le groupe
(surtout "The Last Sunset") mais avec des moyens plus importants ! Ainsi des
choeurs majestueux réalisés par Phil Giordana, leader de FAIRYLAND, une
chanteuse lyrique en guest sur l'intro de l'album, une superbe pochette signée
JP FOURNIER (Avantasia, Edguy..), mixé au HARKAM STUDIO par Willdric Lievin
(HAMKA) et Guillaume Serra
Le nouvel Album, qui s'intitulera
"THE
ORIGINS"
est en préparation, et devrait être dans les bacs fin 2009!

recording for a new set of releases called the "Persona Series". These
cassettes will be commissioned works (not by content, but by payment)
for individuals. If John Smith in London, England wants his own Zebulon
Kosted album, I will make a 45 minute album (one side of a 90 minute
tape), 2 hand drawn mini posters, I will name the album after him
(Zebulon Kosted - John Smith), and the fan will retain all rights to
the recording (for use of any future release, sampling, or broadcasting
rights). One copy of the album will remain in my personal collection,
and one will be sent to the customer, so that the only copy that will
be in circulation will be John Smiths copy! Each album is available for
the ridiculously low price of $10 (not including shipping), and will be
shipped in its completed form no later than 6 weeks from the date of
