Short bio...
Started in 1992 in Orono, ME with Evil Eddie C on bass, Jay on vox, and Zack on guitar.
First show was at the Penny Post in Old Town, ME in the fall of '92.
Set list:
Empty Beer Cans
Trench of Stench
and a cover of Molly's Lips
Dan joined after the first show, and Zack quit.
For the first two years, we had more drummers than Angelina Jolie has shitty tattoos - Trigger, Kyle, the weird morphine addict kid, a death metal dude who was great, but sludgy.... Finally, Greg came into the record store Ed was working at wearing an Operation Ivy t-shirt (a rare sight in east bumfuck Maine), and asked for an application. Ed told Greg he had too much taste to work in a mall store, and Greg asked if Ed knew any bands that needed a drummer.
Moved back to Boston in 1994 - Jay quits - Ed starts singing
Members: Ed, Dan, Greg. Jason Yanouch joins as second guitar.
First album was a split CD with Penis Fly Trap released in 1996 (Fan Attic Records/Poorest Quality Records/Woof!)
Jason Y. left after the recording but before the release.
Chris Lissee joins as second guitar
Greg and Chris left the FINGA in Sep 1998 after recording the "Straight From the Bar" EP (Poorest Quality)
Pete Pasted (guit.) and Ross Clot (drums) joined in Oct 1998, and two weeks later played their first show with the band at the Middle East (upstairs) in Cambridge, MA.
Ed, Dan, Pete, and Ross put out the "Negative Mental Images" (Poorest Quality) and "They'll Play Anywhere" (split w/Zippo Raid on Fan Attic) 7" EPs in 1999 and 2000
Sometime in 2000 Dan split...the usual...creative differences....
Ed, Pete, and Ross go on to play a ton of shows and put out:
"Jacque's JonBenet Bombshell!" 10" EP in 2002 (Poorest Quality),
"Shoot Yourself in the Foot" CD in 2004 (Poorest Quality), and
Split 7" with the Disco Lepers in 2007 (No Front Teeth/Poorest Quality)
