I am a landscape painter working in oil, and also do some etching. I love to cook. If I am away from my kitchen for a couple of days I get a bit loopy. I just got a food processor and I love it.

About me: I spent my childhood in the Midwest and New England. In 1992, I moved from Boston to Philadelphia in order to attend the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, where I studied printmaking and painting. I graduated from PAFA in 1996, and three years later received my B.F.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
I taught first grade for four years at a private Quaker school, but now I teach drawing classes at an art school in Philadelphia - but work full-time for an engineering firm.
In my spare time, I'm a painter - mostly focusing on urban and pastoral landscapes. You can see some of my work at MundieArt.com
I have just become a mom and am learning to juggle motherhood and being an artist.
I like trains, train structures and architecture and I don't know why...
Who I'd like to meet: flying monkeys locked in a deadly aeronautical battle with flying pigs
I like your paintings very much - especially the Trains series. They remind me a lot of the few inner city paintings of Edward Hopper, but yours have a more enchanting and beautiful style I like even better :)
Well, the amount of ee, ii, ee ii oo's is dependent upon whether or not it's slaughter time at the Old MacDonald's farm... as you can imagine, the butchering GREATLY decreases the number of animals to ee ii about ;)
Kate hello...I was just over on your hubby's page to say hello and caught a glimpse of your profile photo and wound up here to say how much I love it and in so doing I have now not said anything at all to Jimbo.
Tell the Prof. Hello for me ;-)
I think the name "Declan" is terrific...isn't that Elvis Costello's real name? Judging from tiny Declan's hairdo I am thinking he too might be a musician ;-)
Although Jimbo might steer him into the CARNEY trade(?)...ha!
Well I am just about to leave Paris...and yes I enjoy being in my mountains again! I specially enjoy the silence, no people around, and that spiritual feeling when you are that close to the sky!
Haven't been on in a loooong time...just saw that you gave birth! Peace and Love to you and your family! Enjoy the enormity of it all... Babies teach Buddhanature!
Hi Kate, I should be leaving to the South in the coming days... but I am just waiting a more enjoyable weather. For the last 5 days we had heavy rains like in November! According to the new pics, happy to see you and the baby are doing well. S.
