I'm not that heavy into sports. I hate politics and politicians. I love America, but I have issues with the American government, especially the CIA.
Music
..
Lots of different stuff. Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Rock, Heavy Metal, some Punk, some Speed Metal, Techo, Trance, Electronica, Rap Core, Nu Metal, Nerd Core, some New Age (Enya), Celtic...
Don't really care for Country and Rap. Not that there's anything wrong with it. If it's real, if it's from the heart, if it's done for the right reason and it's enjoyed for the right reason, then it's cool. Just not my cup of tea.
Movies
..
Sci-Fi, Horror, Fantasy, Action, Comedy...
Not really into drama. I'm sure they have great stories and acting and all, but I like movies to escape the drama from my real life, not to be thrown into the drama of someone elses.

Television
..
24, House, Good Eats, Heroes, Jericho, Battle Star Galactica, Star Gate SG1, Star Gate Atlantis, Family Guy, South Park, Drawn Together, crappy movies on the SciFi channel...
I hate the news.
Books
..
I really should read more.

None really. Not a specific person at least. Anyone that can stand up for what they believe in. Anyone that's strong physically and mentally. People with devotion and faith.
Ásatrú is an Old Norse term consisting of two parts. The first is Ása (genitive of Áss) referring to one of two families of gods in the myths. The second part, trú, means "belief". Thus, Ásatrú means "belief in the Æsir".
-tru /-tro can in some contexts be read as "faithful", but the oldest usage of the term Ásatrú /Asetro, and in the common Scandinavian usage, simply means "belief in the gods".
Ásatrúarmaður (plural Ásatrúarmenn) is the Icelandic term used to identify those who practice Ásatrú. In Denmark, the similar Asatroere (with the normal forms Asetroende/Asatroende, meaning "believers in the gods") is used.
Ásatrú originated as a second (or third) revival of Germanic paganism in the 1960s and early 1970s. The Íslenska Ásatrúarfélagið was founded on summer solstice, 1972, and was recognized as an official religion by the Icelandic government in 1973.
Nice page and nice to hear some Finnish metall too.
So, i have myself a new Asatru friend. :) I would actually have though there would have been a lot around here but i..ve been cruisin..not finding many.
One day, a minister, a priest and a rabbi went for a hike. It was very hot.
They were sweating and exhausted when they came upon a small lake. Since it was fairly secluded, they took off all their clothes and jumped in the water. Feeling refreshed, the trio decided to pick a few berries while enjoying their "freedom." As they were crossing an open area, who should come along but a group of ladies from town. Unable to get to their clothes in time, the minister and the priest covered their privates and the rabbi covered his face while they ran for cover.
After the ladies had left and the men got their clothes back on, the minister and the priest asked the rabbi why he covered his face rather than his privates. The rabbi replied, "I don't know about you, but in MY congregation, it's my face they would recognize."
