I am a folk singer and musician from Cornwall, UK. I live in Folk Towers with Carmen (my beautiful Wife) Liam (our beautiful Son) and Bullet (our beautiful Greyhound). I currently play guitar and sing in Cornish band DALLA, as half of CORNCROW (with Kim Guy), and can sometimes also be spotted with LESKI and TROYL AND ERROR. Founder of late, (largely unlamented!) STEVE HUNT SABOTEURS, I have also toured and recorded in duos with ALAN BURTON (uilleánn pipes) and KERENSA WRIGHT (hammered dulcimer), Other artisits that I have performed and recorded with include: NANCY KERR & JAMES FAGAN and ROBB JOHNSON
I enjoy the spontaneity and social aspect of informal music making, so am an enthusiastic particiapnt in singing and/or tune sessions and folk clubs in Bodmin, Lostwithiel, St Day, Plymouth, Polperro, Launceston, Truro and elswhere.

TWILIGHT FOLK CLUB PRESENTS… CIRCULUS plus SYD ARTHUR LIVE AT ORANGE STREET MUSIC CLUB CANTERBURY
ORANGE STREET MUSIC CLUB (01227) 760801
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 26TH 8.00PM TICKETS £9/£8 IN ADVANCE CIRCULUS
‘British band Circulus have almost single handedly reinvented English Psychedelic Folk Rock for the 21st Century…..their sound is totally unique coming across like a mixture of medieval English Folk, Fairport Convention and Ozric Tentacles! ‘This band just leave you wanting more, playing a wonderful mix of psychedelicised folk whilst hankering to a more pastoral time, but always feel uncomfortably bang up to date. The songs are a fantastic mix of heady summer jigs & ballads, sung with a crystal clear Englishness that can make you come over all unnecessary. This is prog/folk spot on in every way, and probably the only band around who use a Crumhorn, Cittern & Rausch pfiffer????......the audience is sent home happy. Seeking medieval inspiration is not in itself new – Gryphon and Amazing Blondel spring to mind – but Circulus marry this with vintage 70’s space-rock a la Hawkwind/Gong’. Power to the Pixies! Hi Steve, thanks for being friends now on MySpace, too. It was great to meet you at the Lostwithiel session, and I'll remember the pub-prop for future use ;-) Greetings from (back again in) Germany, Cheers, Sláinte, Prost, Detlef
Great to meet you Steve, and hope to come play Barley next year. Malc seems pretty taken and have to see Lorraine with her amazing Banana again. Good times x
ye gods, the incorrigible Steve Hunt? we'll have to stop incorriging him...(only kidding!!!). I've been practicing cracking the whip ALL the livelong day (which is of course a lie, as I've been blowing into recorders in ill-advised attempts at recording). YAY!
Oh wow, just love those old Hammer films! Chris Lee, Peter Cushing, Denholm Elliott and then there was Ingrid Pitt . . . nuff said. Enjoying your Corncrow songs by the way - best from Mark and Carolyn
check you and your stellarness! BODACIOUS! I'm going to go and count stars now - I can't be doing with this no-sleep lark, a patently ridiculous way to go about things!x
