Camping and hiking are great,a s is white water rafting. Also enjoy canoeing, long drives in the mountains, long drives in the country. I have a bit of a passion and flair for crochet, and am learning to knit. I like taking pictures, both portraiture and still life, as well as landscape. Nature appeals to me in almost all aspects, the exception being snakes. I hate snakes. They give me the creeping willies. I love to read, and do arts and craft with my kids. Yard work is great when it's not too hot out, and the beach is always good. I enjoy creating things with my computer and playing around with photo editing in photoshop. Basically, I have lots of varied interests.
Anything but rap, gospel and Christian. I'm very ecclectic in my music choices. Although, I must say, Buffett is God.

Really and truly, there are way too many to name. And, I lived such a sheltered childhood and adolescence that I am just now catching up on things that the rest of you saw years ago...... Still haven't seen The Exorcist!

Okay, I am a total and complete Stargate:SG-1 whore. Seriously. As in, if Michael Shanks were to proposition me (not that I think I'm worthy, mind you), I would most likely leave Hans for him! Also love Star Trek, mostly Voyager and Enterprise (when was Scott Bakula NOT the man??). We also watch a lot of 80's shows on DVD (thank the higher beings for Netflix!) like The A-Team, MacGuyver (Really - Richard Dean Anderson + a thong + a rubber band + a bread bag twist tie = an arsenal to take out all of Al Queada!), The Greatest American Hero, Magnum, P.I., etc. etc. etc.
If you wanna talk about recent shows, though, we watch a few every week faithfully..... Prison Break, NCIS, House, Lost, Invasion, CSI:LV, Family Guy, Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy.
Geeze! Looking back over that, you'd think that I do nothing but sit on the couch! And those of you that knew me way back when (yeah, aobut 50 pounds ago!!), I was a geek then, and obviously, I'm a geek now!

I'm a big fan of Harry Potter (I've read all the books at least twice now) and of Christopher Paolini's dragon trilogy. I've read Eragon and Eldest and am eagerly awaiting the release of the third in the collection. I just finished The DaVinci Code, Gramercy Park, and California, Massachusetts, Timbuktu. I'm heading out to the library today to pick up The Out-of-Sync Child.... I love to read - it's my escape.
