Kerrynini is a collective of music fanatics who feel obliged to push their genre spanning tastes on others whether they like it or not. Formed in September 2005, we set about staging live music events to highlight contemporary leftfield music and culture in the Munster area. Placing a strong emphasis on turntablism, visuals & aesthetics, crowd interaction, and community involvement, Kerrynini has hosted some of Ireland's top djs, beatboxers, bands, and producers at its monthly clubnight along with several critically acclaimed artists, whilst also being involved in the overall running of the Bloom Open-Air Festival in Tralee which showcased over 25 of Ireland's top bands including The Chalets, Ten Past Seven, Cartoon, Dry County, etc, to an audience of thousands for 5 nights.
We are also involved in the staging and conducting of youth workshops and educational classes that focus on the culture, production and performance of modern music in both Cork, Kerry and Galway.
