| General | I like powerlifting, working out and being on movie sets, learning about all areas of filmmaking, acting, and any kind of photography.I also like physics( such as theory of relativity, and quantum mechanics) most science, including paleantology(evolving man), astronomy, neurology, and many others. I see things changing by natural processes over time. I don..t really like chemistry though because it seems generic and does not go deep enough into the atom. (a photon is more wave than particle, and an atom is more particle than wave. But they are both.) now draw me a picture of that.Chemistry is unable to do this . it is just a generic model for people to follow. I also like the percption of philosophy such as aldous huxleys quote."If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things through narrow chinks of his cavern". I also like plato and socrates disscusion on "the allegory of the cave". Where several people are placed facing the cave wall with a fire behind them. People then walk behind them doing various things and carrying different items. The seated subjects are then told to describe what is going on by just looking at the shadows. In other word the things we see are just a vague description of what we see by interpreting things through our senses then sythesizing them with our brain. We see a batter hit a ball from center field but do not hear it until shortly after. we do not see the light from the sun until 10 minutes later. Ducks have 5 cones in their eyes to our 3 so they can see 5 primary colors. Some rodents have 3 partitions in the brain to our 2. many studies now show birds can see in the near ultraviolet. We have only a very narrow visual spectrum of the world, which is why we need insteruments to extend our senses from microwave to gamma rays. Like neil bohr said, if you are not astounded by quantum mechanics, then you don..t understand quantum mechanics. I don..t like fringe science though(like parapsychology). To me you must have a working theory, be replicable, and be willing to change with new evidence coming in. I don..t really like our education system either, they teach you what to think(memorization) and not how to think. Don..t tell me the moon is round and now you learned something. Bullshit!! teach how to think of a theory or come up with my own experiment to show how it COULD be round! In science their is no absalutes, it..s either highly unlikely, to highly likely. I also like the arts such as deep books and films. They look into the depths of human perception, emotions, and can make you look at society as a whole where-as no other form can to this degree. Physiologists find that people change most when they experience a traumatic event. You can tell somebody the logic of something all you want but until they actually feel it they don..t really understand.That..s what art does. These forms have all changed human thinking and perception throughout our human existence. | | Music | mostly progressive artistic groups. Many in the 60..s. doors, the WHO, early stones, hendrix, and velvet underground, Also like pioneers such as frank zappa and john lydon(johnny rotten) from the sex pistols. I like the power of early metallica and slayer. Included is "Blondie" (I will give you my finest hour). | | Movies | favorite movies are 2001 a space odyssey, clockwork orange, apacolypse now, life of briam, and the holy grail. Also wings of desire, Last tango in paris, funny games, and, the girl on the bridge. Also like "Aguirre, the wrath of God", and "Nosferatu" with Klaus Kinski( am a fan of Kinski). directors I like are stanly Kubrik, Dario Argento, Herzog, jess franco, Joe D..mato, Igmar Bergman, lucio fulci, Leni Riefenstahl, and pasolini. Mostly like foreign movies, independant films, and the german expressionism movement since the early 1900..s. | | Television | SCTV(second city television), monty python, star trek" the next generation", fawlty towers, and the young ones. Other than that I mostly watch education, or independant film channels. | | Books | victor hugo les miserabelas, george orwells 1984, lord of the rings, and film making books. Also like a lot of philosophy such as nietzsche (beyond good and evil), socrates, and sun tzu..s "art of war". | | Heroes | frank zappa (for defending against sencorship)(check my blog), martin luther king jr. (using "civil disobedience"),(non-violent passive resistance), to change society for the better, instead of using violence. erwin rommell who I have the highest respect and admiration. col. david hackworth, recieving almost 100 medals, 8 purple hearts, valor and etc. |

About me:
I am a strong believer in free expression, and behavior in any form as long as it does not infringe on anybody..s elses rights. (meaning, Not in any way damaging somebody physically or mentally against their will). My perception of the world is seen mostly through a combination of science, art, and philosophy. I am an information node of these senses, and not one exclusivly, i.e. one form does not stand on it..s own.

Who I'd like to meet:
I like to meet like minded people that are not bounded by the norms of society, and are able to think on their own and expand on the good will of themselves which, indirectly will improve on that society(providing that country allows for this). Remember, don't shoot the messenger, i.e. "the artist" in most way..s is just a reflection of that society. No man is safe when freedom fails.
