Kersha Bailey
Kersha Bailey is a Singer, Songwriter and Self- Taught Guitarist, who was born and raised in North London… Tottenham to be precise. Kersha Bailey performs many types of music such as jazz, indie, experimental and many more. As well as being accompanied with a live band, she is most known for ‘Autumn Leaves’ which she had re-arranged and composed differently from the original Eva Cassidy.
At the age of 17, Kersha Bailey had developed a three octave vocal range with a soulful, colourful style.
Her influences are diverse and include Coldplay, George Benson, Outkast, Foo Fighters, Jill Scott, Prince and her mum Dee Bailey, as well as many others.
Kersha Bailey has performed at Jazz Café, Ronnie Scotts, Rise Festival, Shoreditch Carnival, Hackney Empire, Vibe Bar, Tottenham Carnival, The Royal Albert Hall and for MPs in Covent Garden. She has also performed at After Party’s for MTV Base, and has had articles in the Flavour Magazine, Tottenham Journal, Voice and the Hackney Gazette, Time Out and many more to come soon.
Kersha Bailey’s aim is to hone her art, to have international success and for her music to reach a wide audience to touch those who appreciate real music.
