About me: I love music. And I love many different styles.
I can be very passionate about a band. Suede, Brett Anderson, We Are Scientists and Luxembourg are my all time favourite bands/musicians.
And, of course, I love my son. Ruben is the sweetest kid (what else would I say, right?). You can see pictures of him in my photo albums. He already is a fan of W.A.S. which is great, because I can/even have to listen to We Are Scientists A LOT. :o)

I LOVE The Streets. This is such a lovely song and video. gives me goosebumps.
I'm very fond of The Melting Ice Caps and Jonny Cola & The A-Grades. I wish I could see them live one day. Both are follow-up bands from the former, brilliant Luxembourg.
For nostalgic reasons: a Luxembourg song which I love immensely. You should check it out. It's beautiful.

I'm good. a bit nervous because I'm starting school next week, I'm going to learn how to cut hair. it's what my mom does and what my dad used to do, so I figure maybe it's in my blood! really, I'm just glad to be doing something. das konzert war aber "nur" von omar seiner "nebenband" und es war wirklich schwer in ordnung. hauptsächlich instrumentell, 15 minuten lange songs. wild und entspannt zugleich. manchmal hat seine freundin gesungen, hihi. omar ist einer der beiden wichtigen männer von the mars volta. von letzteren selbst mag ich bislang eigentlich nur jenes eine lied, aber dafür liebe ich es zur zeit. leider haben sie es nicht auf ihrer myspace-seite. ich hätte es lieber nur als "song" reingenommen, naja. hab auch an TMV noch keine freundesanfrage geschickt. bin skeptisch.
ansonsten hab ich irgendwie gar keine ahnung mehr, was du so erlebst und tust. ist schon ein wenig traurig, hm? die müdigkeit hat uns gepackt, seufz.

Hallo Kerstin! Ich wollte mal wieder ein Lebenszeichen senden und Dir einen guten Start in die Woche wünschen. Ich arbeite gerade fast nur und bin ein bischen ein mein Schneckenhaus gekrochen. Ausser der eine oder andere Konzertgang. Hab letztens Oxford Collapse gesehen und Samstag Bloc Party. Fantastisch. Besonders letztere. So kaputt war ich selten nach Konzerten in Berlin, die Leute haben super abgetanzt. Und Du, wie gehts Dir? Lieber Gruss!
I was wondering what you thought of Christian Bale's predicament. it's so ridiculous how big of a deal people are making about it. he is a good actor, like you said, and that's all that should matter. I hate how much people care that he yelled at someone! maybe he was having a really bad day, who knows. I just want the news programs to shut up about it! talk about politics or Australia's flooding or something!
